Incompetent company | Chase Bank review

I had a prior auto loan which closed a couple of years ago after I paid it off. I bought a new car a couple of months ago. I had to call them because I had not received ANY paperwork with loan number, date, amount information. They evidently sent the statement to the wrong address. I then called ti verify, however, they were unable to verify me. I called over 20 times to speak to someone all of which were unable to help in any way. I tried to register my new account which they said the account was already linked to an account. So two weeks later still have been unable to speak to anyone at the exec office and nothing has been paid. this bank is by far one of the worst organizations on the planet.

Chase bank is a very large financial institution and, as such can be very unresponsive and have more than a fair share of unreliable, inept employees. In the case of auto loans and for more personal and competent help, your best bet is to finance your vehicle---and anything else with a credit union membership.

These places are smaller and more receptive to customer problems being resolved. A large corporation like Chase could care less about an individual customer's problem.

I've been trying for two months to get an answer from their customer service. Since I am unable to use the phone due to my disability, I must rely on their online messaging and email. Every time I ask a question, I'm told it's being "forwarded to the appropriate department" and that I should expect a response within a week. When the week is up and I ask why they haven't responded, I'm told that inquiry has been "forwarded to the appropriate department" and that I should receive a response within a week. And so on. They've actually spent more time avoiding helping me than it would have taken to help me. It's like some Kafkaesque dystopian bureaucracy. It's pure madness. I didn't think this level of willful incompetence could actually exist in the real world.

With other banks I was always treated like a person that can make mistakes and they helped me secure my account in cases were I felt it had been compromised. Chase just treated me like trash and made me feel ashamed that I had gotten scammed. They did nothing to insure...

I wanted to help my nephew pay his college tuition. I deposit a check into his account at Chase Bank. After 6 days there is still a hold on my check and he cannot pay his tuition. I had to resort to using a credit card for instant results. I have an 800 plus credit rating with Bank of America. You would think in today's world they could move cash faster. The money was deducted from my account on the first day.

Sounds his account was new, even boa holds checks for that long in new accounts, it’s properly disclosed upon opening, I suspect he might need to take remedial reading and comprehension to understand the documents provided

Sounds like you’re extremely irresponsible, first you stiff Chase, then you stupidly have your employer deposit funds into the account where you stiffed Chase and you’re upset they are sending you the money fastest enough.... let me ask, how long did Chase have to wait for you to repay them (even if you only paid then accidentally, sounds like you bad no intention of paying them)

Ah...so it took the last sentence for you to tell why your account was locked. YOU let your phone run out of power or YOU lost it and tried to do business on another phone.

Totally your fault super patriot. Oh and by the way it's (A)merica not america child.. Also, the company is still under US control like other companies, they offshore the call centers.

You could have US-based calls centers but people like you would whine about higher fees. Make a choice, higher fees or keep being cheap and deal with an offshore call center.

Sounds like you’re upset that they caught on to your fraudulent activities, I suspect that’s why you had to switch banks to Chase in the first place, I suggest you go to a smaller institution where they’re detection systems might not be as advanced

it seems this bank will go out of its way to cause problems for their own customers.....they change rules and operations all the time making it harder to do business ..... their machines rarely work... when they do they do not have much money.... the lines are very long for the past year.... i guess they are cutting back and now they want the customer to know by heart all their account numbers or they can not give them money or deposit money.....imagine that........ last straw
