Stopped Cash Back to Other banks

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Chase Bank - Stopped Cash Back to Other banks

For several years, I have been using Chase Ink CC. for business credit card.

They offer cashback bonus. One of the options is to take the cashback award and put it into your private bank account. For years, I did not use this service but instead gave myself credit on the credit card which caused an imbalance in my bookkeeping. I preferred instead to take up the offer of putting it into my private bank account.

I did this twice. As soon as they caught on, they stopped offering the service. They instead, wish you to spend it on gift cards, that usually go unused. So, if Chase Ink.

business credit card advertises that you can take the cashback for yourself, this is not true. Well, it may be true until you use it!

They Lowered my Credit Limit Twice Now

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Original review updated Jan 27, 2026

Chase, Banking & Credit Cards

I finally had it with you reducing my credit limit. About 10 years ago you reduced it from 60K to 30K.

Now you reduced it from 30K to 15K. I never seem to get the letter from you stating you will reduce my credit limit. Each time after the fact I have received an email saying your credit limit has been reduced? Seems odd you only send them via USPS which cant be proved but the last notice via email?

Are you reducing my credit limit because of my age?

Thinking I may not be able to pay for the card balance like I have been? Are you doing this with all seniors? It is the only thing that makes sense. Cant be my credit score.

I feel it is time to tell seniors to get away from Chase if they want to keep their credit limit. This may be a good subject for 7 on your side? That is age discrimination!

I have other cards and all of them are a great deal higher than 15K. I have had your card since 1996 and have never been late on paying my card and I pay them in full.

According to my credit rating on your web site, I have an 8 or 836 out of 850 score. I can apply for any credit card and get a line of credit line higher than 15K but you only feel I should only have 15K and I have been with you for many years?

When I called the last few days, some say nothing they can do while another said he can ask or file something, but all he did was transfer me to the wrong people and they said they were going to transfer me to the right department and then the call was dropped. I am tired of calling back and tried of your games. They all tell me there is nothing you can do.

Do you think everyone is that stupid to believe such a lie? Not me.

You can do whatever you like and we both know it. If you do not reverse, you will never get my business again and I will take the time to warn all seniors as well as others.

Thank You

Each time they lowered my credit card limit, they say they told me in a letter they sent. But each time, after they lowered it they sent me an email saying was lowered.

The problem with the above is they send the notice USPS and afterwords, they send an email? Why not send the original notice via email? If you happen to receive the USPS letter, you can tell them not to lower it and they don't but if you miss that letter, and they lower it, they tell you they cannot undue it??

They can damn well change it to any amount they want. I have been with Chase since 96 and always pain the balance in Full and my credit score is 826.

The action of lowering your credit limit doesn't need your approval. Whether you received the USPS notice or not, it was still going to be lowered.

You missed no deadline, nor was one offered. You also did not answer the other comment about your income being the highest it's ever been, debt low and no new negative entries on credit reports from other accounts.

You work for years to get a Higher credit limit and you maintain excellent payment history only to have them reduce your credit limit ? On the flip side, they don't give people that are months behind on payments lower credit?

If you try to complain they tell you to call customer service to discuss this? They know you have already spoke to them so telling you to do this is condescending.

They also know by telling you to contact customer service, it will ware you down each time and get you to forget the issue. I recommend that all new and old customers apply for a credit card with a different bank so you can start building your credit up and cut up your chase credit card.

Please don't tell us that this is what getting old is about. What kind of man would care if a bank lowered a credit limit that you're not using (probably why they did it)?

Banks only have so much credit to extend. If you're not using your credit limit, leaving open balances and paying interest, you're not making them money and you are WORTHLESS to them. Your being with them since 1996 means absolutely NOTHING to them or anyone else. More than likely, they move your credit to someone who is using the credit, digging themselves further into debt and making them money.

This is business pop pop, not personal. Stop acting like a whining Bet@ male and find something else to do.

Guest

If your 2025 income was the highest its ever been and your total debt load has not increased, they should not have lowered the limit. (assuming all other accounts elsewhere are in good standing)

Sending out checks that are worthless

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Original review updated Jan 27, 2026

I can't believe Chase Bank is still in business; they have the absolute worst customer service experience! First, they sent me a check that clearly says on the check and paperwork that I can cash it at any Chase Bank location.

And when I went to cash it, they basically told me to *** off and immediately started making excuses for why they couldn't cash the check even though the check and paperwork that came with it clearly state that I can cash it at any Chase location. This is a great example of why you shouldn't bank with Chase Bank. They practice and support bait-and-switch practices, knowing full well that they are lying to their potential customers. I think this is called false advertising, and they need to be exposed for their unethical business practices that they use to get customers.

Chase, you should be humiliated on this site for your obvious lack of customer service and horrible services given at your locations. I will find every website or platform to show your unethical business practices! And let the public know that Chase Bank condones and accepts fraudulent business practices to get customers to come in! This is complete BS!

Enjoy reading the bad reviews! And the manager at this location just hung up on me and openly condones unethical business practices! Now I see why the customer service at the sheridan location in Colorado has such bad customer reviews!!! They get from the manager there.

The manager actually hung up on me when I called!!! if that's what

I was told the only way I could use the money on the check was to open an account with chase. Even though the top of the check clearly said I could cash it at any chase bank.

Guest

Ok ill bite. What EXCUSES did they give you for not cashing the check? Also, what is the check for exactly?

Guest

OK, go cash the check somewhere else. IF it's a legitimate check.

"they sent me a check" My first question is why in the would would they send you a check? Did you work for them or did they out of the blue decide to send you a random check. This sounds like some kind of scam that only the silly and ignorant would fall for. Hopefully, the next time you go in there, they call to the police.

As to your complaint, no one cares and views this as entertainment. In case you haven't figured it out, you are no one to them.

Guest

What reason did they give for not cashing the check?

Impotent to Fitch Phone Account Access Glitch

Updated by user Mar 04, 2026

Don't bank at Chase. They are inept technically.

Original review Feb 13, 2026

For two years, I have not been able to access my Chase checking account, which I have had for several decades, by telephone because the "system" doesn't recognize my checking account number and social security number. Have reported this to Chase several times and all they want to do is apologize and tell me that they are working on it.

How MUCH do they pay their tech people? Fix this already!

Charging for checks at

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

As if they weren't rich enough, I was charged $38 for one checkbook! My only retaliation is when I get my inheritance; it won't go into Chase.

As a retired gal, I had to go back to work to support my home and pets. The costs of everything left me no other decision, and no one cares. Actually, all financial institutions and Verizon (had to buy a tablet for work) are raping the public. I'm sick of it all, but what can I do?

My identity was stolen 2 times, so I won't put bank numbers online.

What a rotten society we live in! Send me back to the '60s and '70s, where life was easier, more innocent, and criminals were punished; put Chase in the electric chair!

That's because all banks (including credit unions) are over stupid people doing stupid stuff like this. The same thing will happen at a credit union if you're foolish enough to fall for a scam.

I was Discriminated, Disrespected, Humiliated, Embarrassed, and Looked at as a Person.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Chase Bank - I was Discriminated, Disrespected, Humiliated, Embarrassed, and Looked at as...

I went to the bank to get some few thousands of dollars to buy a car that I needed to go to work, and The Lady told me she didn't have 20k in the bank. I was confused of what she had just told me because I had my money with them and if they don't have it who would be given me my cash?' I repeated myself that I need the cash ,he told me to come back on Monday.

So I went back wasted time, to going back to the bank, and then another Lady told me she can only give me 10k and a Cashier Check. I said it was ok because I didn't have more time to go back and for to the bank, and they were mad because of me asking them for that much cash witch is sounds stupid to me, do to they are the bank. But I didn't want to feel like I was bother them, so I went to another branch on my way to work, and this is where it was even much worse ever. I had never being discriminated in my life and feel so embarrassing, weird, mad, and even scare many feeling mix, when the two lady team up asking me probing questions about why i had a cashier check, and told her the Lady from the bank 10 minutes away from them gave it to me because she didn't have nenoughash in the bank, and she started comments with her other rep in from of me, turning around and asking me for my ID, Debit Card, and why would I need this much money, and force me to take off my Mask because she didn't feel constable give me that much money she said.

I was feeling sick and didn;t want to take of the mask and they were lots of people in the bank and I didnt want for her to continue with her detective questionary and took my mask and she then said she would make a call to get a prove to cash the check, and told me to go sit down while she was doing this, but right around the wall were the sit and i can hear them saying stupid things like, no one like me walks around with a check for that much and also why would i come to the bank wearing a mask. I did't said anything but I didn't know how to deal with so many things in my mind on why she didn't believe that the check was legit and I even told her to call the other branch, but she said she knew what she was doing and told me if I wanted to come back another day? I told her no I understand I just have to go to work so let me know? 12 minutes passed by and i continue them just talking crazy stuff and got up and told her to give me my check and ID, and card and they woman, was of course you will".

I Don't know if those bank got audio but I want to sue this bank because the same thing happen with customer services that end up sending a letter about them closing my account do to i was calling them and ask for them to get my money back for some purchase I didn't get my money from and they thought i was lying but I keep calling them and asking for help but they were asking for some paper work for it and didn't have do to the purchase were on a casino site. so went to deal with this people myself witch is the money that got deposit to my account and the one I was trying to get in the bank. I got myself and they didn't believe me and for that I got a letter that they were closing my account in 30 days, just because this bastards didn't believe in me and they like I was asking them to help me get those charges back.

So my account will be close in a few days from those 30 days they gave me and I still got one of their checks that I'm planning to go look for another branch and hopefully they will have cash in the bank and better customer services and be threat like a customer not a robber. ps: any recommendation to sue them for this?

Poor quality bank

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I walked into Chase Bank branch at 2039 Airline, Bossier City, LA and have never had worse treatment in my 78 years of life. I was the first to walk in on August 1, 2025, and Amber asked me what I wanted, and I explained I had a problem with my account.

She then saw someone walk in and called them by name and told them to come on back. One of the other account folks named Mr. Simmons, I think, also asked me what I needed, and I told him. He asked others in line what they were there for and sent them back while I stood there looking like trash they didn't want to talk to.

This branch has over and over shown just why no one should choose Chase Bank to do business with.

It is a shame you can't give them 5 negative stars.
