Chicago, Illinois

This is not a major complaint but just a reflection on the way Chase does business. I found a wallet today with a drivers license, $26, and a Chase debit card.

The license was out of state so I did the next obvious thing and called Chase and asked if they could notify their customer so that I could return these items to her. I was willing to give them my name and phone number. She is a young women. I suspect a college student.

Chase refused to cooperate.

Bah Humbug Chase. Merry Christmas to your miserable customer service staff.

If you have the driver's license then you have the person's address. Mail it back to them. Do the right thing--period.

Why not just contact the person who owned the wallet?
