I spoke with Jason Tiller at Chase for a couple weeks on several occasions about taking a equity line out on an investment property. Most banks won't do that but he said no problem. I requested that he double check and make sure he could do that. He want and checked...

Are you serious?!? So, they said YOU'RE not responsible, did they say it was paid off before or just after her passing?

If so, great.

If not just because YOU don't owe the mortgage doesn't mean the balance isn't owed. Rather than posting here, you probably should get an attorney as soon as possible before the bank comes after the property.

I’ve been a customer of chase bank for 13 years. I’ve never had any issues. They send me plenty of communications. Their app is user friendly and keeps me alerted for any possible threats to my accounts. They have a great fraud team. Great customer service to their loyol customers. I can also say the same about Bank of America. I cannot say the same about BBVA/Compass Bank....stay away from BBVA.

Why did I reach your review...there’s absolutely no information in there except you were transferred, my guess is the reason they couldn’t resolve your issue is because you didn’t or couldn’t explain your issue....much like your review

CHASE BANK STEALS YOUR MONEY

About two months ago, I tried to stop a double payment to my cell phone carrier and asked Chase Bank to stop payment as well. Which they did. The cell phone carrier instead of stopping payment and allowing the original payment to be credit to the account; instead issued payment to me. I contact both the bank and the cell phone carrier that a mistake had been made and was told both would fix it on their ends. Instead, a month a half later, I get a letter stating that they were going to reimburse cell phone carrier and only giving me 10 days. I asked that they hold off so I can find out what happened and they refused. Instead, they managed to bounce every check I wrote (even my hotel payment) while I was on vacation and left me destitute. I had to go to my daughter to pay the hotel on her credit card so I could reimburse her. A month later, Chase bank decided they weren't rich enough, so again they bounced out every thing and now demanding I pay them $415. I told them to go "f" themselves they had stolen enough money from me and said they would write it off and then send me to collections. I said, go ahead because they were modern day criminals. Yesterday, Chase bank calls me wanting me to cough up the money. I told them I wasn't paying because they had already ripped me off. Lo and behold, it wasn't an American customer service rep, but someone calling me from across the seas (India) I do not recommend this bank at all to anyone. They act like you are a great customer until they try to find a loophole and take you for a financial ride to disaster.

Chase Bank review in Atlanta, Georgia: Chase would NOT close my account after I requested them to. Chase asked me ridiculous Security Questions that seemed to come from Googling or someone’s Facebook page - info that I didn't give them.

Details
A Chase credit card phone representative asked me all these ridiculous security questions that I didn’t create. They asked me questions that they seemed to have may gotten through an internet people search. Because I sure didn’t supply them with any of this strange info that they asked me. For example, 1. THEY gave me a relative’s name and asked what’s their birthday and how that person is related to me. Really! You’re GIVING me a family member's name… that I NEVER gave your company and THEIR birthday is a security question! 2. They asked me what college I went to. (I never gave Chase this information on what college I attended!) Where are they even getting this information? Are they getting it from Facebook or random people search engines? Because I never gave them this info. 3. They asked How long I lived at my current address. They asked me for past addresses. I never gave them past addresses. These are strange questions to be asked when you didn’t set these up yourself as security questions. Its as almost as if they were Googling me. Security blocked my phone number and they hung up on me three times when I called back from a different number. Each time they hung up on me... I was first transferred to security and they validated who I was first. Then put me on hold and hung up. The weird thing is that after I answered all of those questions with a rep, they told me I wasn’t myself and blocked my brand new never used card. I wanted to close it since it was so difficult to use and they wouldn’t even let me close the card! They wouldn’t even let me close the new “never used” card that they would NOT let me use. Having a CHASE CREDIT CARD IS TERRIBLE! I would not wish dealing with Chase on anyone. I feel that I should not have to suffer with this Chase credit card account being on my credit reports if I’ve already requested that they to close the account. I would not reccommend this company to anyone. Dealing with them is HORRIBLE!
