I, too, have been getting the run-around from Chase Bank. I have had a personal account for over thirty years and was a representative payee for my significant other.

When he passed away they managed to seize all funds from my personal account stating that they received notice from US Treasury to withdraw his veterans benefits. Not only did they debit his account but a so called "glitch" in their system said that I was deceased and now have managed to take everything I had in my personal account. They should be working with social security numbers not just names. They have withdrawn my social security payment and I have no idea when this will be rectified.

After speaking with their "Decedent Department", all they can tell me is that they are researching this and will get back to me. CLOSE OUT ANY CHASE ACCOUNTS YOU HAVE BEFORE THIS HAPPENS TO YOU ALSO!!!!!!
