Chase Bank review in San Bernardino, California: Third Time Fraud

My names is Jose, I’ve been with Chase for about 5 years, but over the last year I’ve had to replace my card 3 times due to fraud. I’m not sure how these humans (savages) are retrieving my information, which by the way is suppose to be 99.9% secure. This will be the final strike, I’m tired of my hard working money being taken. Over the year it has been a total of 609.85 to be exact. I will be looking for a NEW BANK!!!! I’m pretty upset & I hope others read this!

Chase Bank review in Bakersfield, California: They'll take your $ but you can't get it out

Chase has been my secondary account for years. I use it like a savings. It's very smooth sailing depositing funds but when you want to use them it's a whole other story. First they place arbitrary limits on withdrawals and spending. Say you have 10k on deposit - you can't make a 400$ purchase. Just bizarre. Also they will freeze your card supposedly for suspected fraud but unlike their rules state they DO NOT call you to advise you or to inquire about these "suspicious" (and they weren't) transactions. My opinion is they want your $ on deposit and they do everything they can to keep you from using it!

Did you call the number on the back of your card to see what is going on? Do you have alerts from Chase set on your account that will inform you via text, email or phone of any problem?

You need to look into these alert messages on your Chase account online. The bad news is that you are correct that Chase fraud department is on overdrive and the very bad news is that when you do call that number on your card, you usually get someone in India who neither understands or speaks the English language and who can't or won't help you even if they could.

This is why having a credit card with another bank or, better yet with Discover is so important. You can use the fall-back card for situations when Chase messes with you.

So you do a deal with a car dealer, car dealer tells you something and the bank who’s not a part of this conversation sends you a bill and it’s the bank that’s wrong? Maybe I’m wrong but maybe you should have contacted the BANK first or gotten something from the dealer in WRITTING saying the DEALER would make you whole but sounds to me like you feel the dealer has power over the bank - if you think this is how things in this country work then I should tell you that same dealer told me you owe me $12 million dollars - I expect the check within 3 business days!!!

Wow what a disorganized mess of a post. It’s hard to understand all the op has going on.

I suspect that there is far more to this story, especially $25k international wires and account shutdowns. Usually a shutdown is due to money laundering type of activities, and my guess is the $25k is the tip of the ice burg
