Chase Bank in Hobart, Indiana - Terrible FOREX rates and they don't know it

I recently bought foreign currency for an vacation from Chase because I was told by a banker they "could get better rates than going through an exchange." I should have checked the rates before accepting the money because afterwards I discovered that they had charged me 12% over the daily rate to make the exchange. When I followed up with my bank they told me "they weren't allowed to know the exchange rate" and that they "went through a third party where the fees we all included in the rate." I told them I could get 3% from my credit card and was disappointed with them. I was not offered any solutions. DON"T USE CHASE FOR MONEY EXCHANGES - THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

Chase Bank - Chase mismanagement of Texas unemployment cards

We have contacted Chase bank more than 10 times without any help.They(supposedly)manage the debit card system of the Texas Workforce Commission.We live in a city of 300,000 in Texas and Chase has NO BRANCH here and only ONE ATM ,which has been dysfunctional and EMPTY since last week.They had about 8 ATMs,but farmed out all but ONE to a contractor who charges you $3 to get $20 out.The way this so-called bank operates is a national disgrace.No government entity should be doing business with,or having citizen's business handled by these fraudsters.There is no excuse for this disservice to the citizens of Texas or any other state.Period!!

These idiots call me every day for 7 months, talked about 30 minutes every call, I was in a bad car wreck and could not make payment, kept telling them I would have the money in december, so december finally gets here and so does the money, I sent them 3,500.00, they sent it back, thats right after calling about 200 times for me to send them money, they sent it back... on top of that they are still charging me mortgage insurance on a house I owe less than a thousand on. I will never borrow from them again, this is the 4th house I have bought and I plan on buying another, but it wont be with chase's money.

Chase Mortage was the only debtor I delt with that was completely unsympathetic to the fact my mother had died I as the executor of her estate was handling payment through the estate of all of her outstanding debts. I sent them the necessary documents two times via fax, 1st they didn't recieve it and 2nd the documents couldn't be "verified" because they couldn't see the embossed seal. If you are asking for faxed documents you are never going to see an embossed seal. It was like pulling teeth to get the mailing address to send original documents to them. I started this process in December of 2014 with Chase, I have had countless phone calls and had agents hanging up on me because the situation is frustrating and emotional for me. No one is ever apologetic for the loss I had and they have treated me like I was some low life who just decided to stop paying my mortgage. When it was her mortgage and anyone who has ever handled estate settling before know it take awhile to be able to pay off anything. So when I call they are consistently rude in speaking with me. Now because they took so long to assist me I some how need to not only catch the mortgage up but also pay attorney fees for foreclosure status? If they had assisted me in a timely manner then this would have been handled December 4th 204 instead of March 2015. I can't give you an exact date yet because I still do not have a definite resolution with this company.

I have banked at Chase for nearly 10 years and every subsequent year it seems to get worse! I won't get into issues of the past, but here is my current complaint with the company: I have been unemployed for around 5 months. I have handled some small business matters through my account since then but my activity has dropped drastically. I do however log into my account profile frequently. Well, this morning I proceeded to log in and make sure all of my affairs were in order to receive my tax refund. Low and behold, my account was nowhere to be found! I called customer service and was told that my account had been closed due to inactivity (which I actually can understand) -------- without notifying me!!!!!! I was basically told I would need to take money to a branch and sign up for a new account. I think not!!!!! I am completely screwed now on receiving my refund through direct deposit, which I obviously need as soon as possible due to the fact that I am unemployed as I stated earlier.I opened a new account with another bank that charges NONE of the ludicrous fees Chase does. The second complaint in my battle has been that my online profile is still open. Since you cannot close it yourself online, I had to contact customer service yet again. The *** on the phone couldn't verify my identity!!!!! We all know identity verification is not their strong suit but I digress. I asked to speak with a supervisor. I could hardly understand her but I explained the situation anyway. She advised me that because my identity was not verified I would have to either enter a branch location or call back in 24 hours. So they can close your BANK ACCOUNT without your knowledge but they can't delete a freaking PROFILE without a blood sample and a strand of hair??? I will be marching to the branch first thing tomorrow morning to make them pull my personal information out of their system. I am done with this company. It costs way more trouble, hassle and money than it's worth. I will never do business with them again!

Chase Bank in Los Angeles, California - Case Assistant manager Marina del Rey branch ignorant, disinterested, and impolite

I asked the assistant manager to stop an automatic payment on a Chase mortgage two months in the future because I was paying off the loan. He said he had no way of accessing the commercial loan account and asked for additional information. When I returned 15 minutes later, he had gone to lunch. I tried to ask a teller when he would return, who replied, "I told you to sit down over there." I went home and faxed a request to to end the automatic payment two months hence. Isubsequently received a delinquency notice on the loan for the current period. The Assistant manager apparently stopped payment on the current payment and disregarded my instruction that it begin two months hence .After receiving a lack of payment notice , I made the payment over the phone. However the bank rejected it. I received a default notice. Chase Commercial says they never received a request to stop the automatic withdrawal. The Marina Del Rey Chase branch is not returning my calls.
