Chase took $1,600.00 and refuses to release my funds!

I deposited a check made out to my company into my personal account because it was overdrawn and i wanted to pay my fees off. After depositing the check they put a freeze on the account because it was made out to my company so i told them to cancel the check and id have the home owner rewrite one. After that, they dismissed my request, cashed the check, took their money out, closed my account and told me i had to prove it was my company before theyd release the check to me. I went down got the proof i need after registering with the state because i had recently relocated. I took the paper to the bank and they still refused to give me the check saying i had to prove it was mine on that date. So basically it was okay enough for them to cash and get their money but they cant release the rest. I specifically told her to cancel the check so i could get another one and since thy didnt, i couldnt get another $1,800.00 check issued, so im still out that money, almost a month after the check was first deposited. HELP!!!!!! What can i do to get them to release my funds?

I have over a 800 credit score now chase is saying the appraisal on the property is not appraised properly don't look they trust my judgement, I would think if I have a 800 or better credit score my judgements are pretty sound looks like there just nitpicking, not a very customer friendly bank

Refunds

I decided to get a chase account, I believe 2 years ago just to make my car payments. Sometimes If I do not have time to make a deposit at the bank I would use my credit card to pay my car instead. Of course I know that there's probably no money in the account because I rarely use it, but on July 23, 2016 I went into the bank and asked the teller, "Is the account currently open". She tells me yes. I told her I would like to make a deposit, but she refuse to do the deposit and advises me to make the deposit at the ATM instead, which I did. The next day I tried making a payment with my car insurance company and they tell me that the card is declined? I go call the Chase and they tell me that the account is closed and that it may take 10-15 days to investigate what happened. Mind you this is cash that was deposited. So their telling me once the investigation has been completed they will reimburse me and that should take another 5-7 days. Until now I am still calling to find out where this check is. I have numerous times and have been transferred to so many people that I can cry. I have never had to deal with an issue such as this before. It should be this difficult for a cash deposit, Today is 9/25th 2016 and I have yet to receive my $500 deposit.

Check hold for twelve days

we deposited two separate checks to separate accounts and both were put on a may be held for 12 days on the receipt! When we complained were told to call the next day, really helpful. Then the next day one of the checks is still on Hold for no reason. Not able to pay bills or buy food, gas with check on hold money. Have had an account here for a very long time, no reason to hold a payroll check by bank of Wells Fargo!!! Then when called and told person inside bank, absolutely no help at all, talked to four people at the chase bank line and not one was able to be helpful in any way except say they could not help. Not very good customer service when you want to go to Wells Fargo and open a new bank account just to cash or deposit your check.

Do not use chase bank. They do not care about their customers at all. All they care about is making money. If you do not use their credit card for 6 months they will close out your account. They will send you fliers all of the time to fill out applications for their other cards. But, if you use their card, and then pay it off, and then not use it for whatever reason. They close out your account. They do not care if you are a good customer or not. They do not care about you at all. They are rude, and have no respect for you as a person at all. If you do not plan on maxing your card out, and using it every month, then do NOT use them. Not only all of this, but they do what ever possible to *** over repeatedly, and then ignore you when you try to talk to them. WORST company that I have ever dealt with and will not ever deal with them ever again. HORRIBLE!! Everyone should know about them before they decide to use them for anything. If you like rude customer service from a company that straight up tells you they do not care about you then go to them. You will get just that! They are all about hurting your credit every chance they get, especially if you are a customer that is in above great standing with them.

On 7/19/2017 i called to dispute a claim that was charged aganist my account. I spoke with a repersentive who said she was the supervisor. She told me she is not putting my claim through because the merchant is right. And not to waste chase bank time. Marrgie U. Thank you for showing me chase is not the bank for me. MORTGAGE CLOSING

I have been a customer with Chase for over 25 years, in good standing, never a late payment or overdraft. I got a new mortgage with Chase. I was clear to close over 2 weeks before closing. Arrived at closing on time and was told Chase did not have me to close that day. Waited 2-1/2 hours and Chase told me they could do nothing even though they dropped the ball. I had children and pets with nowhere to go. I had to figure out where I was staying for a night. Chase did not care. Got scheduled the next day at 11am. Chase was still not ready and it took them 4 hours to get the closing and paperwork done on the second day. I had lost all my help to move and incured out of pocket expenses due to Chase. I filed a complaint and there answer was $500. Nice to see they care so little about putting my family on the street and wasting my time.

Horrible costumer service, I talk to Melinda a lady in costumer service that leave me in hold for more hour and half and just to tell me that they are busy and if I want them to call me back. I ask to talk to the manager or someone in charge and she put me on hold again, she say that if costumer resolution was not available then the connect you with the manager and I say that's what I ask for and she put me on hold again I stay 45 min waiting again... I was so aggravated! I don't be live that there is not people working at costumer resolution and certainly I don't believe that I can't speak to I have been a costumer for a long time and I'm really despondent that they treat costumer a like that... I just feel that I have wasted not only 2 hrs in the phone line but years hoping that chase will be a good bank for me... I will change my money from this bank for sure..!

Chase will hold funds from being processed to try an get OVERDRAFT FEES, $34 A POP.THIS IS SOME B.S,at 5;50 I make a cash deposit,now I have a plus balance,that night my direct deposit goes in,SOME HOW CHASE DELAYED THE WHOLE PROCESS AND PUSHED THROUGH A CHECK BEFORE MY DIRECT DEPOSIT GOT POSTED,LITERALLY MINUTES AFTER THE $34 FEE HIT,THEN MY DEPOSIT GOT POSTED.THIS REALLY HAPPENED,THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP CONFIRMED THE TIME THE FEE WAS TAKEN,AND THEN CONFIRMED WHEN MY DIRECT DEPOSIT WENT IN.THEY WHERE MINUTES APART."CHASE WILL LOOK INTO IT"GOOD FOR THEM ,IM LOOKING INTO "BANK OF AMERICA"THE MORAL HERE IS CHASE WILL FEE YOU TO DEATH IF YOU LET THEM.

CHASE AMAZON CARD

I get an e-mail from Chase Amazon for 30$ off 150$ spent on Amazon. No specific details are noted.

It is -noted to be for Primeday -7-12-16. I try to use it repeatedly. I talk with Amazon people who punt me to Chase people. It starts out saying invalid coupon code early in the day (6 AM).

I am told by Chase and Amazon people to only buy prime items, not using my points etc. I try this repeatedly. I keep talking to reps from both camps. Finally around 2 pm I am told to try again later.

I did and got "promotion over." What? I call Chase again, demand names. They refuse to give names and be held responsible, but say the offer expired at 12 Noon. I was on the phone prior to 12 Noon and around 2 PM, no one said anything about a time limit.

Finally I get a supervisor who is flippant and happy to cancel my card. His name was Tony Gomez from the San Antonio, Texas location of Chase. He was proud to give me his name and taunt me further. He was rude and flippant after all the frustration his reps and Amazon put me through for the *** coupon.

I called Amazon to complain about him and the whole process. They gave me a courtesy credit due to the run around Tony and his staff put me through. When you have a promotion...spell out the terms clearly. Note the time the promotion ends.

Nowhere on the coupon did it say it would end at 12 noon and was only good for amazon goods bought directly from Amazon only (provided and delivered by Amazon...their own stock). I was told repeatedly it was for prime items. Prime items can be from many companies. This campaign was deceptive and in my opinion intentionally so.

Reps like Tony have no business in customer service.

That goes for Marie C. from the San Antonio location too.

My account was fraudulently hacked by a scammer. I didn't know until my card constantly declined I then contacted Chase to see what was wrong the company then notified me of some claims I did not dispute. I then let it be known I didn't make any disputes. Instead of helping me resolve this matter and not proceed with the claims(as requested) they apparently did. Now monies is taken from other ppl account due to a dispute that I requested to be cancelled. On top of lack of support from customers claims the attitude was rude and failure to carefully listen before shutting me down. He just repeatedly says he can't help me.

I have had a Chase CC account for ~6 or 7 years now and used the pay feature offered to pay my rent and accept rent from others without issues. This past month I received an announcement from a rent payment that I had to create a new account with clearXchange in order to receive the rent deposit from my tenant who also banks at Chase. I am being requested to enter all of my Credit Union banking information to a complete third party and offer even more sensitive information to a company not of my choosing... and the kicker... they are "waiving the money exchange fees, at this time", what the *** does that mean, they might decide to charge me a fee later!? Chase Bank and clearXechange you can go *** yourselves! Chase you are losing me as a customer; clearXchange you will never have me as a customer.

The Chase bank at Medlock Bridge Road, Alpharetta, GA convinced me to transfer all my retirement funds to get Chase for private client status and no fee to operate or close if I don't like the services. I didn't like their services and want to move back my funds to Vanguard.

Now they are hitting me with fee of $75 for each fund.

They misrepresented me all along. I want my fee back.

Chase offered to private client status in exchange for move my retirement funds from Vanguard to Chase. The promised me there won't be any fee in case I feel like moving back to Vanguard down the road. I don't feel private client status is any use and asked to chase to move the funds to Vanguard. Now they charged $75 for each account. This is total misrepresentative. When brought this to the attention of higher ups they didn't give a ***. I recommend everyone not to open account in this bank. They mislead the people when they open account and no one care if you complaint.

I think you got scammed! I looked up rules for borkerage and it gave me results for brokerage instead.
