CASH into your account without an ID. My wallet was stolen, and I needed to deposit money into my account to cover a bill that was going to automatically withdraw in the morning. I brought my CASH to the bank and the teller asked for ID. When I told her I didn't have it because my wallet had been stolen, but that I was happy to prove my identity in another way, the teller just told me there was nothing she could do and shoved my money back at me and walked away. I couldn't believe they possibly had such a *** policy, so I called customer service and they told me the exact same thing. So I can call customer service and prove my identity over the phone and get important details about my account relayed over the phone without a photo ID, but I cannot go in person to Chase and deposit CASH into my account after my wallet was stolen? ?? I will be closing my account as soon as I get a new ID

Kathryn • a few seconds ago Someone did two wires out of our account. We did what chase ask for -signed affidavits -closed account in September 5, 2015. Said it would be 10 days we would get our money back. On 9 - 15 - 15 I called about the money. oh it will be tomorrow. on 9-19-15 I called again on noooo its 10 days from 9-15 I said no its 10 days from 9 -5 Please Do not believe Chase Bank - They lied to me. chase said today they called the powers to be and there is nothing they can do today we have to come in Monday

Didn't tell me of an interest rate I will still accrue after closing account 2 months ago | Chase Bank review

I closed my account and they failed to tell me I would have to pay another balance for interest. I had to ask for a letter of confirmation that the account was closed, when that should have been best practice. Then 2 months later when I receive a bill, they tell me there is nothing they can do, (so much for valuing customer service) then do not even offer if I can speak to a supervisor. When I request to, I get an attitude. All of this over $20. Sounds petty for a profitable and a big company. After speaking with the supervisor who was even keeled and more responsive I become aware that customers must ask for a supervisor before they will be directed to one. Sounds counter intuitive given that if a customer is upset they should immediately be transferred to a supervisor who has more liberty to address and rectify situations. My recommendation - be cautious before going to Chase.

i am with chase many years and for the first time i had trouble using my debit card which has huge balance on it for a small purchase. i call the number in the back immediately and im on hold about 25 minutes. i have to answer a ton of questions before i get transferred. it is now midnight and i am worried about my savings. i tell the person who answers that i might be a victim of identity theft and want to check on my debit card which is no longer working with a large balance. amazingly infact shockingly i am told for them to help me i have to answer the following questions which i will list here.... full debit card number the last three numbers on the back the expiration date my full social security number my date of birth my phone number my mothers maiden name i am furious and tell them if i was not a victim before i will be by giving out all my personal info. i explain those are the total questions a person needs to know to actually become me. i say if this is used against me how would i prove it was not me when all those answers are known only to me? i am switched to another person. i have to answer the same questions which i refuse the last three. i am sent to a manager who says she feels for me but to help me i need to release all this info. i tell her abut the emails chase sends out that no one should give out their info over the phone and now your asking for what your email warned not to do. she says that is from another part of the company and she needs this info to move forward. I THINK THIS IS SO MESSED UP THAT I WANT TO CLOSE ALL ACCOUNTS WITH CHASE. I WANT MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO DO LIKEWISE. I WANT TO WARN EVERYONE USING FACEBOOK THAT IF YOU EVER HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ANY CARDS WITH CHASE YOU WILL HAVE TO RELEASE ALL YOUR PERSONAL INFO. THE MANAGER SAYS SHE CAN NOT SEE MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT ALL THE INFO AND THEN I MIGHT HAVE FURTHER LOSSES IF I POSTPONE ANSWERING. THE BANK DOES NOT EVEN CARE IF I AM BEING RIPPED OFF.

As long as I know I am really calling chase, I give them the info they ask for. One time in the branch they asked for my pin!

That I would not do.

I had a problem with my B of A debit card that I ONLY used at Arco and B of A ATMs; someone charged $400 on it at walmart even though the card was never lost. B of A denied my claim; when I asked for walmart video the bank told me I could "appeal" the denial. I did so and they credited me.

I will not use debit card at ARCO again.

awful! they put in machines to do banking. not helpful or convienent! there r 4 ppl assiting at the machines no one wants to use anmd 1 teller for 18 ppl on line!!! who asked for this??? not I and not the angry 18 ppl standing with me. in with technology out with customer service! chase is now officially worse then the USPS! and they lose billions of dollars every year.. I wonder why... watch out chase..

Chase Mortgage aka Chase Home Finance | Chase Bank review from Littleton, Colorado

Approximately 18 months ago I began to submit additional principle payments against my mortgage loan balance. Immediately the Chase people fouled up each and every principle curtailment payment five months running. This resulted in literally dozens of phone conversations with them, continually repeating their error/problem over and over, week after weary week. After a short time I compiled a manilla file which grew fat quickly. I submitted the extra principle curtailment check precisely as instructed by THEM and the screw-ups continued. How much time does a person have in their life to chase this kind of uneccessary problem? Then, voila! Chase caught onto the routine and all has been well until my 9/1/2015 mortage+principle curtailment payments. The regular mortgage payment check cleared my bank by 9/3/2015 however, the second principle curtailment check did not. The phone calls have begun again. I was told they hold back an additional check for a day or two then deposit it. Say what? This practice has NEVER taken place before as I have been doing the same exact procedure (by their instruction) for 18 months and I stated just that to the Chase customer service person. He then proceeded to instruct me to stop payment on the curtailment check and re-submit another one. Say what?? They want me to spend $45 to stop payment when they obviously lost or purposely destroyed this check? I think not. Both checks were stapled to the payment stub just like every other month. So these folks are instructing me to chase down and resolve their obvious blunder. How is a consumer insulated from such neglect? How many steps must one take to ensure their payments are applied properly? Many more than I have time and patience for.

Sitting in the waiting area for an hour. Only one banker working, while 5 customers are waiting for service. Long waits at chase locations seem to be part of their brand.

I'm at the Chase bank at 77 1st St. in San Jose California - my wife is doing business inside there - she has been in there about 40 minutes - I'm handicaped (walk with a cane) and needed to use a restroom due to The medication I take - when I went in there - I was told we don't have "public restrooms" by the greeter - I said I'm not the public, I'm a customer and my wife is talking with that gentleman at the desk - how dare them refuse me to the restroom Ron Thompson San Jose

Hi my name is Ricardo munoz a chase customer . I just want to say i really do not like the new way this bank works ! Chase needs to bring back the bankers ! Replacement of bank people with a ATM is not help any customers just making everything harder and longer waiting time. If this is the new way Chase works I will leave chase for a new bank like TFC or other banks that have real people working. I here in the berwyn il chase and all the customers here feel the same way.
