Chase inability to do what they say they will do

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Once again Chase failed. They promised to send a replacement credit card 8/16 to arrive over night. It wasn’t sent until 8/20 and not overnight. It took speaking with several people to get to the right one. I’m supposedly a Preferred investment client. After several experiences with their products I now won’t allow anyone there to touch my investment. The sales guys keep telling me how good they are. Ha!!

I had a terrible off-lease situation with Chase. Never do business with them again. Thank God my primary accounts are with B of A.

I can tell you my experience has been the exact opposite of yours but then I have "CPC - Private Client" accounts but even before I had them they always bent over backwards for me

Chase bank is bad

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Chase bank without my permission reported me in my credit report once in January once in February once in March and once in may. I did not request a bank account from them in any month this year. So I put a fraud alert on my credit report. Did Chase get the idea NO. Chase refuses to take off my credit report what I did not do. Chase bank continued to send me letters asking me for more info. Is chae bank stupid? I told them continuously I do not want their accounts. They are harrasing me about putting a fraud alert on my credit report. Just how stupid is Chase bank. Duh I have a fraud alert on my credit report because Chase bank does not get the idea I do not want their bank accounts. I do not want their lending services. I do not want letters from Chase bank about the fraud alerts I have on my credit report. Chase bank has been harassing me all year long. Is this a common standard operating procedure of Chase bank? To stalk harass people who want nothing from them. Is it standard operating procedure for Chase bank to put things on someone's creut report that the person did not do? Chase bank has to stop harassing me and stalking me immediately

Do you honestly think Chase just grabbed the phone book and decided to pick on you? Someone is either trying to obtain something with your info or you have some sort of relationship with them...either way you shouldn’t be blaming them, instead you should be trying to figure out what’s going on...sheesh some people....

Chase lending services

I've applied to many other credit cards from other banks before, but none was so bad as Chase bank! I submitted an online application on the 15th July, and never received anything from the bank, so I called their lending services two weeks later and they told me that I have to send verification documents for my address and SSN.

I called back again to the regular service number later to verify their mail address, but got informed that my application was rejected (it was not even after the review period! it's clear the employee has no clue about their business) because they didn't receive my supplementary documents. I explained that I NEVER received any letter asking for these supplementary documents, so they transferred me to speak to another person in the lending services. Now I got to learn that my application will expire by 15th Aug, so I have to send them a fax (Who is using fax these days?!?

I cannot believe a modern bank is so behind in technology...) or mail in my supplementary documents ASAP. So I went to the post in the first possibility I could and then called back to check with the bank after. Then the reception pissed me off. She was not providing any useful help and tried to cut me off the line several times before i could get a clearer answer for what I need to do.

The bank staff is supper arrogant and services are really poor. They were not able to mail out the documents correctly, but expect customers to adapt to amend the banks' mistakes.

I think this would be the last time I would every apply for credit cards with chase bank. I would not recommend others to use this bank either.

If the biggest problem you had this day was a woman with her two dogs inside a bank - so much so, that you felt the need to type up that ridiculous narrative - it's safe to say you have bigger issues to deal with. Handle those.

See a shrink. Be nice to dogs.

Carry an epipen. Also, if sharing the same air as a dog has the potential to kill you, mayyyyyybe you should look into Darwinism

Harassment and repelling customers

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I went to chase Bank at Walnut and Audelia Rd in Dallas today for a business.

While I was waiting on line A woman who works there came and asked me what I was doing. I replied that I was on the line waiting to go to the teller. She harassed me by insisting why I was on the line.

Again She asked me If I need Water.

This is totally unacceptable and not expected from a banker to a customer who comes to be served appropriately.

Ekaterini Kxo

You sound unhinged. She was probably asking you why you were in line to ensure you were not waiting for nothing.

Maybe she was trying to make sure you didn’t need to be redirected somewhere.

Asking you if you wanted some water is considered harassment? Wow

Never received a card, statement or phone call. Only a past due notice and a mark on my credit report.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Applied for a Chase Credit Card in April 2018 and transferred a balance from another card. Got approved and waited for the card to show up. Waited for 3 months and received nothing. No call, no card, no statements. Honestly, I had forgotten about the account entirely, that there was no paperwork sent to me. The address on the account is for my business as well, where we receive mail every day.

I finally get a statement that says the account is past due. ......Ok. I call and explain that I haven't received anything from the company since opening the account. I also say that I am ready to pay whatever to get the account current. They say they will reverse the late charges and get a new card out. Great.

I ask about this showing up on my credit report and two separate employees tell me there is nothing they can do about that. That it is bank policy. I ask to speak to someone else, and a woman told me that there was no one else I could speak to.

I paid off the entire balance and closed the account promptly.

Guess it’s the banks fault too that you forgot about the balance transfer....I know it’s easy to see another cards balance disappear and think the visa fairy paid it

Chase bank's policy of going out of their way to get rid of longtime profitable customers makes no sense.

Original review May 19, 2018
Chase bank's policy of going out of their way tgo *** of longtime profita le customers makes no sense.
We have banked with Chase for more than 12 years and have business, personal and other accounts with them. Our checking accounts alone have had an average six figure balance most of that time and have never dropped below $60000. They pay us about .01% and lend out ar probably 5% or better, so look at the money they are making. We keep high balances as we are in business and always want instant access to ready cash.
They would let us walk rather than cash a $100 check which is even drawn on one of our own accounts. This account is a Social Security disability account which we administer on behalf our our disabled son on which his own name is listed along with ours as Rep payee. For years we have been writing him a check for under $200 every month and which we have mailnly named him as payee. About six months ago he was asked that future checks be made out to "Cash", don't know why, and we never questioned it but complied. He had no problem cashing these checks at either of the two Chase branches near where he lived. However, today he went into the Gold Canyon office who refused to cash it as it was made out to "cash" (as it had been per their own instructions fr at least the past six months). He called us from the bank and I asked him to put the manager on the line who informed me that it should have been made out to his own name rather than cash. I told him that we used to do that in the past but had been instructed by them to make it to cash and such checks had been cashed without a problem and to please give him the $100. He said he would not cash that check as it was a violation of the rules. I told hm if he still refused that we would close every account we had with Chase. He still refused, so...guess what?
Of course that is going to put us all to great inconvenience. Chase will lose out on profits to say nothing of reputation, and we will lose out in time and inconvenience. I should have closed our accounts down a year ago following horrible service that I had received by that same branch (and probably same employee). I started the process but I was so busy at the time I did not go through with it. This time , I will make the time!
Assuming what I have written is true, why would any company want to get rid of long time profitable customers? Sure makes no sense to me other than them having the satisfaction of acting like a -holes and ruining people's day, not because the should, but because they could. It obviously gives these "jobsworth" cretins a certain sense of power and victory.

"Chase will lose out on profits to say nothing of reputation,"Probably not. I'm guessing anyone who just won't go home and re-write a check for a little change is probably one of the worst people to work with. They know it as I'm sure anyone around knows.

To "Anonymous"Yours was a very stupid response and it is people like yourself who soak up the kind of bad service from Chase and take it all like a bunch of sheep! It is true that my son could have come to my office on that day, an 80 mile trip, the only problem being that I did not have any checks for that account there.

The only problem being that he was low on gas and needed the money to get to his work some ten miles away. That is why I left a check for him under my front door mat before I went to work!

FRAUD UNSCRUPULOUS BUSINESS PRACTICES

HAD FRAUD INCIDENT ON CREDIT CARD. WHEN YOU ASK WHAT IS GOING ON REGARDING THAT INVESTIGATION THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU ANYTHING. THEY REFUSE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT MY CREDIT CARD BEING USED TO MAKE FRAUDULENT CHARGES.

NEW CREDIT CARD ISSUED AND NOW THEY REFUSE TO ALLOW ME TO MAKE PAYMENT ON THE CREDIT CARD! INSTEAD, I GET A MESSAGE STATING I AM ONLY ALLOWED TO MAKE A MUCH LOWER PAYMENT. MY OLD CARD ALLOWED ME TO MAKE PAYMENTS IN THE AMOUNT I WANTED TO MAKE. WHAT IS CHASE UP TO? PROBABLY TRYING TO FORCE ME TO PAY AN INTEREST RATE ON THE CARD BECAUSE I PAY DAILY EVERY CHARGE I MAKE SO THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO COLLECT ANY FEES ON MY CARD SO THEY ARE NOT ALLOWING ME TO PAY SO THEY CAN CHARGE INTEREST ON THE CARD. THESE PEOPLE ARE SO LOW RENT...

ASK THEM ABOUT THE FDIC DOLLAR AMOUNTS THAT ARE INSURED AND THE RESPONSE THEY GIVE IS I WILL HAVE TO GO TO THE BANK TO DISCUSS ALL OF THESE TOPICS.

SO, CHASE, I GUESS AFTER 30 YEARS OF BANKING WITH YOU I NEED TO TAKE MY 1/2 A MILL TO ANOTHER BANK AND SEVER ALL TIES WITH YOU. PROBABLY BETTER OFF ANY WAY SINCE YOU PAY THE LOWEST RATES TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD.....

Chase Bank Transer Department incompetence

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I tried to do an ACH transfer to my broker from CHASE Bank to the Broker which uses CHASE Bank. On at least two separate occasions over a two week period, Chase said the TRIAL deposit will not work, and the REJECTED my transfer. On BOTH occasions, the Deposits were in my Broker account! I have spent HOURS with idiots from rude Customer service and Technical personnel trying to tell me my account information was wrong; however, I had printed out the routing and account information both times and it is correct. The CHASE Funds Transfer department should immediately be fired and get their money back from graduating from Trump Univ!!

My account was debited but cash didn't dispense from ATM

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I went to chase drive through atm to withdraw $250. I entered my debit card in the slot, pin number and cash amount of $250, the transaction went through and machine asked me to remove my debit card at first. I took my debit card, but cash didn't dispense from the slot.

Later I found that my account was debited for $250 transaction. However, I didn't receive cash from atm

I called chase customer center but didn't get any help. They are saying that $250 transaction happened. However, I am 100% confident that, I didn't get $250 from Chase atm.

I called the claim department few times to resolve the issue. But they didn't cooperate.

Horrible Commercial Customer Service

Updated by user Aug 08, 2018

Here we are a month after this issue occurred and it is still going around in circles. Sad and frustrating.

Original review Jul 09, 2018
Someone committed fraud on our account. As soon as it was identified, the account was locked. Here it is, 2 weeks later, and having followed all of the instructions of our Bank Rep, our company still cannot pay any of our real vendors. Chase is asking us to verify deposits coming from our customers??? Why they are questioning deposits is beyond me. All along Chase has given much information, but most of which is unreliable. I wonder how a company is supposed to operate with out a bank account? Totally unprofessional for a Commercial Banking department. No one seems to know what procedures to follow.... Is everyone in the banking business new? Do they not have any training before letting these people handle our money? Very sad state in our banking environment.
