I am pissed!!is just the start of Chase's worlds worst to deal with!!They have some of the bigest dumnies working for them,How are they still in business??You know when someone shows you 10 cashiers check copies for the amount of your payment to Chase Bank with the account number on the check,and Chase says the payment wasn't made ,or late or NSF,what don't they understand??? It was all paid in Cashier Checks.Before we know anything about it the house is in foreclosure.I mean these people can not even do simple adding or subtraction. So,what can you do??They come up with all these late charges,NSF,said some checks were written from a close account,I'm telling you I had NO checking or Saving Account,NO Chase credit card,that is why the patments were made with Cashier Checks.To make a long story short,we ended up having to pay over $9,000.00 to get loan current.Now does current not mean (NOW) or did we miss something.I know I'm not the smartest person,but I wasn't born last night.Anyway the loan was paid up to current May4,2007. Now here comes the tricky part.We go to sell the house.Chase then backs up to 2003 thru 2006,charging late charges,NSF,payments not made,everthing we just went through again.We hired a Lawyer , they wouldn't even talk to him,this is unbelievabe.we ended up paying right at $12,000.00 more for the payoff.Now this is where I am PISSED!! I turned Chase into the Better Business Bureau,you better believe they listen to them.(BBB) Maybe they will atleast keep this from happening to you!If you deal with Chase Bank you will get burned!Listen to this dummy,Take your business else where.Enough complaints could stop all of this! And I do Thank the BBB for everything they do.

I have not ever encountered such unreliable services in my life until this month when I missed the deadline of my credit card payment by 1 day. I know I am a busy person, but I also like to pay my bills on time. To be safe and to not miss my payment deadline, I enrolled with the Chase credit card Alerts, which would alert customers for many functions, which include payment deadlines. I appreciated this system because on September 2007, I received an alert email to remind me that my payment would be due in 7 days. Last month, I did not receive any alert email from Chase; as a result, I did not pay my bill on time. I called and emailed the Chase customer services to ask why, but none of them could provide me the reasonable answers. The followings are what four of them said at four different times: "Please be advised that, your account is not enrolled for receiving alerts stating that your payment is due within seven days. Our records show that the account is enrolled to receive alerts. If you have not received an e- mail alert that you signed up for, please verify that the e-mail address you provided is accurate. If you have not received an e-mail alert that you signed up for, please verify that the e-mail address you provided is accurate. Please be advised that your account is enrolled for e-mail alerts. If you have difficulty receiving e-mail alerts please call our Customer Service at the number listed below so we can assist you with this process. To call us collect outside of the U.S., simply dial the WorldPhone (MCI) toll-free access number for the country you are calling from, and tell the operator that you wish to make a collect call to the United States to phone number 302-594-8200." Worst of all, when I called and spoke to Tyler, one of the Internet Chase credit card adviser, he told me that I should not rely on this Alert system to pay bill. I was in shock. Chase provides such Alert system to help customers, but customers should not rely on Chase. What a slap on their trustworthy words! However, I was not satisfied with what Tyler said and I sought second opinion from other Chase advisers. I spoke to Patricia and she told me that my email server could have filtered out their emails. Again, I disagreed with her because I have been receiving all other emails from Chase except my alerts email. I asked her if there was any change in their system that Chase didn't inform their customers to aware of, and she said no. But, from her, I learned Chase did change their email address and they did not inform customers about the change. Instead of using Chase@alerts.Chase.com, they just started to use questions@cardmemberservices.com as their email address. The latter imposed two issues: 1) fraud email address without using Chase as part of the domain name, and 2) negligence of informing customers about recent change of email usages. Although I am responsible for my lateness, I don't agree that I am the only person who would be responsible for the whole situation. I post this statement because I think Chase serves millions and millions of people in this world. Imagine if Chase serves 4 million people internationally, only 1/4 of this population, who relies on the alerts system for meeting their payment deadline, could bring them a profit of $15 millions dollars plus finance charges imposed on the statement. If some of you like me enrolled in this system and did not receive any alerts email last month, please respond to this statement to see if we could make a case. I plan to carry this on elsewhere; if you have any other advice, please feel free to offer here. Thanks, Tina

Every one should sign up for chase autopay for at least the minimum payment, that if you don't receive payment , they will make the payment for you, full proof as long the money in the bank to cover the payment

Chase Bank review in Niles, Michigan: Chase Mortgage Calls

I have been trying to get Chase to stop courtesy calls to my home and work. Last month I received the first phone call 5 days after my mortgage was due, this month it was 2 days.The lady said she was calling because i was late and I needed to make a payment right away. Never mind the 15 day grace period in my contract, or at least a please. When I asked them to stop calling and to get my number off their dialing machine, they said they couldn't (which as an ex-telemarketer I know it's not true). When I asked what is the procedure to stop all phone calls, the supervisor told me to send it in writing to the address in my statement - there are 5 different addresses in m statement, but he wouldn't say which one. Today I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for ten minutes before the call dropping. I am now fed up, and want the name and phone number to the person I can file a formal complaint against their collection/customer service department, but when I called back they refused to give it, the supervisor got on the line and said she wouldn't give me the information until I explained why I wanted it. Seriously!! If I'm not mistaken, it's against the law to deny a customer information regarding who to contact for a formal complaint. I want to speak to the person who will either make Chase stop calling me or give me the information the company requires so that Chase will stop calling me. I want no more contact with this company by phone, unless I initiate it - because the representatives are poorly trained, rude, condescending individuals. Please and Thank you.

Couldn\'t agree more. Thieves and terrorists, and should be treated as such.

I got a refinance and paid them off. They hooked me for some money, but just glad to be done with them.

I agree with you 100% about their customer service. THEY SUCK!

THEY ARE RUDE!

CHASE SUCKS! I would not recommend them to anyone, your better off renting for the rest of your life then to deal with those RUDE ***

Chase Bank review in South Dennis, Massachusetts: CHASE Circuit City Rewards Visa Card Won't honor dispute

Circuit City Rewards Visa will not honor my dispute with an online merchant. I ordered 2 new OEM batteries advertised new in Retail Package. They sent me 2 very used batteries in a plastic bag(Not in the retail package). The merchant would not replace with new ones or give a refund. So I returned them USPS with Delivery Confirmation. I mailed proof of mailing bateries with dispute filled out as Chase Circuit City advised. Two weeks later they mailed me back taking the side of the Rip-Off merchant. They said it doesn't qualify a QUALITY DISPUTE AGAINST THE MERCHANT! They will not credit me the $26.07 that I got Ripped of using their credit. Well I cancelled their credit card and will NEVER shop at any CIRCUIT CITY again. PS: Their credit card was one of the worst anyway. When paying the monthly bill online - It would always show the complete balance to pay including the recent charges that should be on the next month's bill instead of just the charges up to the cut off date.. Chase Bank review: How retarded is Chase.com?!

Recently, I tried to set up payment for my credit card via the website and was directed to phone the company to set up verification. This was one of the options in the setup (others were: text message, phone home, email-didn't remember email it was set up on originally and it was partially blocked) So, I called the company and because I wasn't the 'primary account' owner, I couldn't set it up! I told the man that I was going to make a substantial payment on the balance that day, but because I was the spouse of the primary account owner, I wasn't allowed access. They wanted to call my spouse at work and discuss it there. I told them that I was the one who wrote the checks. I was the one that made arrangements for just about everything and I knew all the security information, but they wouldn't allow me to make the payment!!! Imagine, not accepting money from someone! And so after I had my son call on speaker phone so that I could tell them what they wanted to know, that payment was able to be made...for that month! Next month comes along and I try to log in on the site to pay...now I can't log in! I know the login information was correct, but I had to reenter SSN and account # so that I could get a code via email to log in and reenter my password! Once again, multiple steps to make a payment!!! Now we are trying to pay October's installment...same *** with logging in! Once again extra steps to pay. AND THEY WONDER WHY WE DETEST PAYING CREDIT CARDS!!! I think they like going to court to get their money...which I will complain about another company called MBNA and the idiots I am dealing with there!

im patricia shilinsky your customer today 7/16/07 i called chase to make a payment on my loan i wanted to pay with my chase bank acc i had four of your employees tell me i could not do that on line i sent my husband to the bank fast to make the payment then i called chase back to see if the payment would post today they told me no. i had to have it posted today to keep our apr i told this gentelmen the problem and he told me yes i could pay on line with my chase checking acc he helped me cancel the payment my husband made and make the payment on line to keep our apr i expected much more from chase employees to be trained in matters like this i expect a refund on the canceled check since the information given to me was incorect i am very disappointed in the way i was treated i must tell you that there has been times when your employees are out right disrespectful i will be informing my family,friends,and co-workers about this treatment. sincerely patricia shilinsky 201-914-6306

I too feel as if I was ripped off by Chase Credit Cards. I have had a card with them for several years now and never had a complaint until recently. I went online one time to check and see what kind of rewards I could get with my points I had earned throughout the years (which were a considerable amount), and soon after, I stopped receiving my statements in the mail which is how I do my financial business. I hardly ever check my e-mail (I just got on the internet recently and I realize I am still living in the stone ages) and I have never used it to pay a bill in my life, so I got behind on my payments unknowingly since I didn't realize until they had not shown up in my mailbox for two straight months. Because of this, I received two late fees, two overlimit fees (I had used the account to pay off higher interest rate cards) and in turn my interest rate is now 30% as well as a minimum payment of over $200. I am a server in a restaurant and am on a budget. I understand that I got myself into my own mess so to speak, but because they automatically assumed that I wished to recieve my bill electronically without asking me just because I decided to hop on their website once really *** me off. I have since gotten another card that paid the majority of the balance but now I see they have tacked more fees on my bill. $140 more than what was told to me by a computer when I called to get my balance after I got the other card. I have also cut up the card and intend to close the account, never to have anything to do with them again.
