I am one of the few folks who is consistently paying on time. Chase decided not to post my electronic payment.

I had proof I'd paid for April, and yet until I contacted the Feds they lied and refused to post. Company should be shut down. Rude folks, no one knows what's going on--never have the same rep so they have no clue.

It's a study on how not to run a business. Gov't should take it over.

first thing you should know is the people answering the phone today were not alive 150 years ago

and as far as not liking black people that is not true since i have seen a few black people representing chase at college job fairs and there is black people working there

i do not know where you get your information but you should not try to blame people living today for things that happened at least 100 years before they were born

I agree with Jean. Where's your proof that Chase is prejudice against a particular race?

I am so sick of hearing that garbage. If you have solid proof, I am happy to change my opinion. But as it stands, you are just spouting off and looking for something for nothing. Yes...blacks were brought over on slave ships and not treated fairly.

But that was ions ago. Get over it. My family is Jewish. They weren't treated very well, either.

Yet thrived to raise above. And did so through hard work.

You should stop whining and take the same approach. It's amazing what you can acheive if you just set your mind to it.

What a rediculous statement!!! Get your facts straight....Chase is not the only company that originally had slavery.

Any old established company did. You feel like you sould be "owed" something, then go earn it yourself. You don't see the Jewish community looking to "get theirs" and feel like their "owed" anything. They we're almost killed off the face of the earth.

Chase believes in diversity in the work place and has many employees of many cultures. Go out there and make something of yourself and be proud of what you can do. Heck, I work my tail end off and I'm hispanic. I'm proud I've "earned" my way to where I am and give back to my community.

What about you??? I'm tired of whiny people wanting something and not willing to work for it. Take that negative attitude and turn it around and get that drive, positive attitude and winning spirit to make things happen for yourself.

Chase cares about all people of all nationalities, shame on you for saying that. Sound like to me that they couldn't do something you wanted and now your upset making invalid statements.

Chase Bank in Boynton Beach, Florida - Chase Credit card an their Privacy Guard

I just looked at my Chase credit card statement and noticed a $12.99 charge,. When I called I was told that is by Privacy Guard and I needed to contact them directly. They also told me the charge has been monthly for two years! I called Privacy Guard and they told me that Chase Customer Service had verbally authorized them to do so. Called Chase back they said, the customer is responsible for such a requests! Well, I am fuming because I was in banking for 12 years, have a graduate degree, work in finance industry, and was at one time a Consumer Loan department supervisor. In addition I have "alert" on my credit reports which nobody can pull one without my signed permission. I am out over $300 and Chase which I am sure is benefiting from this union, is not willing to pay me back. Beware and look at your statements.

This is the type of complaint I mentioned in my praise of PG. I also bank with Chase and they offered me PG over the phone when I called about a charge.

They were not pushy, nor misleading, they told me I could have the service for trial then it's $12.99/month (after recording the enrollment for like 10 minutes)I agreed and got my info in 1 week. I was very happy with this program and I would have paid a lot more for it because it works.

I am surprised someone with a degree wouldn't look at your statements each and every month to verify the things there are what needs to be there. I am not sure how PG or Chase is at fault for offering you a service to help manage your finances and credit worthiness, that you then forgot about.

Ok - the poster admitted she was not smart about checking the statement - that does not give the negate the reprehensible behavior of Privacy Guard and yes they do automatically take money from accounts by deceptive practices. A disgusting company - why do you think so many people complain? Sorry Cassesy but the company you work for is operated by criminals and the banks that promote Privacy Guard are partners in crime!

I work for PG and the only way you can get it is you sine up for it. I'm am so tide of people calling in to cancel and don’t know how they got our services. The program works and can help you in the long run for Id theft. You can all ways get a refund from us and you can cancel at anytime. If you have been billed for the service for more then 3 months and did not know about then you need to look at you statements more and stop crying.

Thank you

Cassey

First of all, it took you two years to notice a monthly charge on your account? The bank provides you with a mothly billing statement, it is your responsibility as a consumer to look over it and notify the bank of billing error. You think with all that education, you could read and be responsible?

Credit Balance with JP Morgan Chase Bank Credit Card

On 11-23-07 I by mistake made a payment of $11,857.29 instead of my credit card *********** balance of $1857.29. It is 12-10-2007, 10:43 AM CST yet to receive the over payment. 11-25-07 at 8:17PM CST Ms. Erin took my 1st call and promised to get this issue resolved by sending me the credit balance right back in 2 to 3 days. To date I have not received my money back. I have made numerous calls to Chase customer service 800-436-7927 and why my money has not been returned back?

As a part of the government bailout, the banks that got emergency cash don’t have to follow the same rules as people who have to get payday loans. People are held accountable for paying off their loans unlike banks who do not have to pay the money back, or even be accountable for it.

The banks and other companies that got generous portions of taxpayers’ money are popping up all over the place in reports that they are either unable or unwilling to report just how exactly they have been spending that money.

(My guess is the latter.) If a regular person needs some emergency funds, and gets a payday loan, they have be accountable for it and pay it back, whereas the Wall Street types evidently don’t. Maybe in the future the government should look to payday loan companies as a guideline for how to hand out emergency cash.

a credit balance refund takes anywhere from 10 to 14 days if under 2000.00 and possibly over a month if over. this is not the banks fault, this is a result of the USA PATRIOT act.

basically to prevent money laundering chase has to have an analyst review any credit balance refund over 2000 to prevent money laundering. chase has a payment research department that should have handled it but that is no guarantee that your credit refund would be expedited

Chase Bank in Providence, Rhode Island - Chase Credit Card late fee for paying bill early!

Chase charged me a $30 late fee because I paid my bill 8 days early! I have never paid them late, my payments are ALWAYS early and always at least 2-3 times what the min payment is! When I called to straighten out the matter, the staff was not at all helpful or sympathetic, nor was the "Supervisor" I spoke to. I was told my previous 2 payments had been applied to one statement b/c my payment was 8 days early, and there was NOTHING they could do about it because it was not a bank error! DO NOT use Chase for you credit card/financial needs!

I am extremely upset with the service at Chase. My mortgage has been sold to three different companies since I purchased my property.

I did not choose to have Chase at the mortgagee of my home. I am very unsatisfied with their service. As a professional who has 7 years of banking experience, including credit union management, this company certainly does not educate their staff on their products and services, or even something as simple as professional customer service ettiquette. After all, this is a multi- billion corporation.

There is no reason why they can't afford training. My chief complaint is that they do not communicate with their customers. Instead, they charge excessive fees, increase payments on a fixed mortgage (which is ILLEGAL), and then place you in collections.

If my situation is not rectified by Monday, I am contacting the better business bureau. I suggest anyone in my situation does the same.

Chase bank wont take my Deposit??

Years ago I had major problems with Bank One and ended up leaving them on very bad terms. I wasn't sure if there have been any improvements with the bank now that it has become Chase, but to my great disappointment I am once again displeased with this bank. They told me I cannot direct deposit a portion of my paycheck into my husband’s account without being added as an account holder! I have previously been able to direct deposit funds into a LaSalle Bank account which I am not an account holder of, and the payroll company (Paychex) has a signature line on the direct deposit form which is to be signed if the account you are depositing to belongs to someone else. I called National City to ask if this could be done, and they said absolutely! Looks like I'll be banking with them instead. What kind of bank won't take a deposit? A terrible bank like Chase, that’s who! I urge anyone who reads this: DO NOT BANK WITH CHASE! If you are with Chase, then move elsewhere and save yourself from their ignorance.

Chase is the 2nd largest bank for a reason. It's actually to protect YOUR money.

They wont take it as a direct deposit because it could cause some sever problems. It you got divorced and your spouse kept taking your money it could hurt you and him. Now say that divorce or death would ever happen you just need to be cautious where you put your money where you personally don't have access...say your husband gets killed tomorrow it may take weeks before you can get your needed money.

Those other banks are taking a risk by this and are not protecting your best interests. I'd suggest if you don't want a account get a paper check.

Chase Bank..Marathon oil charge cards

If you hold a Marathon oil card administered thru Chase. And if you don't trust Chase and would like to cancel your card. Don't just cancel the card, drop a note to Marathon explaining why you are cancelling their card. They do reply to emails. If enough people actually voice their opinion perhaps Marathon will find another administrator for their cards. I did this after I cancelled my card. They replied nicely, sent me a survey and then sent a 25.00 gas card. I made sure to explain my issue was with Chase, not Marathon and would be happy to do business with them again if they got rid of Chase. Here is the email for Marathon. I would have liked to have been told that Marathon was no longer discounting 5% when i use my Chase Marathon credit card, i buy a lot of Marathon gas and i feel let down by the way they stoped the 5% rewards for being a loyal Marathon costumer.

I get very upset everytime I pull up to a Marathon Gas Station with my Marathon credit card and they want to charge me extra for my gas because I am using a charge. Should be some way to exclude the Marathon cards from being charged extra. Glad they don't all do that...I would stop using my card.

Chase will do notaries, however for Chase customers. Chase is very helpful, and I have not had any problems with any of their staff.

Things happen, maybe this Gio didn't have a full understanding.

Go to the manager. Chase's fees are not any worse than any other banks.
