Chase Bank in Sioux Falls, South Dakota - JP Morgan Chase--Does not follow through with their credit limit or APR!

Over two years ago, I got a WaMu card and a Chase Card. One had a limit of $19,000 with APR of 11.99%, the other had a limit of $4500 with 23.99% interest. I have always paid more than the minimum every month on every single bill I've ever had. My credit score isn't the best, but my credit report is outstanding. When WaMu went under and Chase bought them out, Chase decided that since I was using some of my credit limit on the $19,000 card and very little of the other one, I was risky and they had to up my APR from 11.99% to 29%. Because I ALWAYS paid them more than the minimum before it was due every month. So I sold everything I had and paid it off. My APR went back down to its original percentage. A year later, they decide that since the only two credit cards I have are through them, and I am using them (not getting very close to the limits), they cut the $19,000 limit down to $10,000. I have $9000 on it right now due to medical bills. So this is ultimately going to destroy my credit. I won't be able to get anything and I will have to pay them and of course they don't deserve it. Why give somebody a credit card with terms like, "If you use it, we'll cut your credit limit drastically so your credit is screwed"? I am being punished multiple times for always paying more than the minimum. Not only that, but they enjoy telling people who have paid that they haven't. Thus, the customer has to pay an insane late fee. They are notorious for being *** Never again will I do business with this wretched company.

Chase Bank

hahahahah I can beat any of these. We started the "refinance" in June of 2008 yes 2008 guess what it is still not completed. No one has a clue as to what they are doing. We have had the house appraised not once but twice. Now it is December 2009 and still nothing. It started out with the first guy that literally "walked out" of the bank and didn't return. When we call to check the progress on the loan no one knew anything about it and then we were told about a week later they could not find our personal finance information, nothing serious I guess just our W2's and other personal information. Comforting. Another week passes and they find it. Wow good job...Then they are going to get it to the Underwriters, hummmm that was August of 2008, the Days/Months/Years have blended together. Then a finally in March of 2009 an appraisal was done, wow we are moving now.....then go forward to about September 2009 and yet another appraisal is done, because??? they lost it, housing market changed? who knows? They don't. They did try to make us feel better by telling us we weren't the only ones this had happened to...hahaha Seriously that is a selling point??? hahahaha We'll see what happens next. Can't wait for them to tell me we will need more paperwork, oh yes that happened again last week. hahaha (The dates are approximate except for the beginning date of June 2008) Since all these problems have been on their end, will we get back all the interest paid for the last year and a half??? We should right? Oh and of course they have told us there would be no fees involved in the refinance. Good luck to everyone dealing with this bank, you WILL need it!

Chase Bank Incompentence and Poor Customer Service

Opened account with Chase two months ago. New account was put on restriction because someone from Chase didn't enter the check info correctly. The check was cleared after numerous call, but some dummy at Chase didn't take the restriction off my account. I went to check my account balance online and saw my account wasn't listed. Chase closed my account and issued check to my old address. Went into a branch to see if they could cancel the check and issue my a check at the branch. No, have to wait 7-10 business days for mail. If you value your money, time and looking for good customer service, look else where because you will not find it at Chase.

Chase Bank in Tucson, Arizona - Chase- name fitting. They Chase your money

Just started a Chase account not even one month ago and I got screwed bad; here's what happened... I wrote a check for 570.00 for rent and it was written on the 3rd. I had 600.00 in the account waiting for it and somehow the 25.00 for checks I thought I had already paid posted and then it snow- balled. The check posted on the same day as the checks, This didn't happen until 11 days later on the 14th, when a few cents sent me into overdraft because THEY WAITED to debit the check; they waited until I used the card to post it! Soon they moved around a whole bunch of other charges until I was $239.00 in the hole! I talked them down to 179.99 and paid it today. Now I can't close my account for like 90 days because I got 100 dollars for opening the account. If I close the account I'd have to pay it back, even though they already got it back and them some! DONT GO TO CHASE! That hundred dollars they offer, they will get back one way or another! I'm suspicious this is why so many new account holders have trouble.

Chase doesn't hold your funds if you don't have it. Your intelligence on having a checking account is off too.

People who have issues with banking, just don't understand. Leave banking for people with money.

They know how to read, write and do the math. Duhh!!

I left chase a couple years ago because they are crooks. Then they bought out Wamu the place I switched to.

When that happened They lost over 600 dollars I had deposited without any explanation. They wouldn't refund it. They said it was due to problems merging the two banks computer systems, and it would post eventually. Long story short,I had to kiss my money good buy, and get my family to help me out with rent that month.

It never posted. When I closed my accounts at chase after paying their bogus overdraft fees, which I didn't owe, I thought everything was over.

But recently I've been getting account statements from them showing that my old accounts are at Zero and I need to put more money in them in ordere to not get charged a fee. Well as far as I'm concerned it's not my problem and they can go f#$% themselves

They hold your funds... plain and simple.

Read the story again. Or have someone else with a higher comprehension read it for you.

When you put in $100.00 and you spend $75.00 how much do you have left. Come on, do the math.

$25.00 that's right. So now, when ever you spend money don't forget to write it down. Company's can come and get their money when they want.

They expect the money to be there. Duhh!!

Chase Bank in Lutz, Florida - CHASE has NO customer Service AT ALL!

Had the Hess credit card through Chase for more than 5 years. I always pay my entire balance at the end of the month and I have NEVER been late. My wife sent a payment by snail mail and it arrived one day late (payment was for the entire balance). They charged me a $39 late fee. I called up and asked for it to be removed and they said NO! I told them to cancel the card and they said Sure ... didn't even blink! I just got a statement with ANOTHER $39 late fee on top of the last late fee and the FRIGGIN account is CLOSED. I made the mistake of trying to call them and straighten it out ... again, no help at all. Guess what Chase ... I will NEVER pay that late charge ... EVER, EVER ... and I don't care how many late fees you add ... I'm going down tonight to cancel my other Chase cards AND cancel my Chase bank account!

Had a similar problem. I have been paying one to two extra payments a month on my Chase credit card and saw a $39 late charge.

When I called and asked why it turned out that I had paid one day too early for the cycle and they counted it as late even after geting three payments that month. So I told them to cancel the card and they said they would let the appropriate credit people know as if I had done something wrong.Cancelling my wifes card as well!!

Chase Bank fees are redundant and s/b illegal

Chase charged $198 in fees for 1 bad check that they should not have cleared. They refuse to take responsibility for it. This should be illegal. Closing acct and will pass on info to the world. Get out of Chase b4 they take all of your $ too! When I asked them to reverse it they gave me the run around to telephone tellers, back to managers, then to other branches. Made me sit in the branch for 45 minutes and still never could talk to a mananger. Waited 2 days to hear back from bank manager only to be told they would not reverse fees. Chase is as bad as B of A!

I made some small purchsaes with my Business Debit Card. At the time I know for a fact I have more than enough money to cover them. But when I checked my account a few days later, a check was posted which left me in the negative,( not by much). However, my 2 small purchases was "pending" until the day my account was under.

I was charged with 6 insufficient fee of $33!! total $198 !

I understand it was my fault for going under with the check, and is willing to accept a fee. but 6 in one day??!!

They didn't give me a chance to fix it since the next day is a holiday.

6 fees is outrageous!!

Since it is a business account, I get multiple transactions going through daily.

One time, they charged me 4 fees ($33 each) because I was under by 5 cents, 15 cents, etc.

Business accounts have multiple transactions, Chase should not charge fees based on the number of transactions it occured that day!

Chase Bank in New Orleans, Louisiana - Where are the christmas decorations?

In the past all of the banks celebrated christmas by decorating the banks beautifully. what has happened? what is the problem? Most of the people in the us are christians. I know the jewish people love to see our decorations and so who are we placating? I am seriously thinking about moving my money to a bank that is more open minded about the holidays. this makes me sick to think that chase is this politically correct . give me a break. This bank is hurting their reputation by ignoring the festive season. I see many banks with beautiful decorations and trees. what is wrong with chase. cynthia boyd metairie la.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. and their creative banking are nothing short of thieves. I had my checking account balanced down to the penny. I knew exactly what I needed in my account. I made a deposit in my account Monday, December 14, 2009, at 710pm. With the $42.00 in...

I would have closed my account and disputed the debt. If you are persistent enough and relentless you will get what you want.

When I ask customer service reps "Why am I supposed to be an expert on the inner workings of a bank establishment?", they have no idea what to say. Stay strong!!

Chase Bank Sucks

My car was broken into and my Chase ATM card was stolen. I called Chase and the police within hours of the robbery and reported the card stolen. Chase replaced it as well as helped me file a dispute for the charge that was on my card for Starbucks for $15.90. I faxed Chase the police report and Chase refuses to reconcile my account. Chase was too lazy to do the actual investigation and look at my transaction history. I've never shopped at Starbuck's with my ATM card, I called the day of the robbery to cancel my card while the police officer was standing in my living room. Needless to say this is ridiculous, obviously I am telling the truth because why would anyone go out of their way to complain about $15.90! It's an outrage that someone stole from me, and I have to pick up the tab! I will be cancelling my two accounts with them at the beginning of the year and I hope more people do the same!
