Have several credit card accounts that were once through Washington Mutual, and after the great govermental bait and switch or better known as the TARP program, the bigger banks swallowed up the little banks, and Chase took over Washington Mutual. All of my limits were...

This one is a bit complicated...

1- Don't blame the banks for the new terms & conditions, blame the politicians that created and approved the laws.

2- While we as a nation have become used to spending today and paying tomorrow, we must remind ourself that credit is not a right, but rather a priviledge and therefore banks do not have to get your approval when lowering your credit limit.

3- The best thing people can do at this time is indeed file for bankruptcy, this will not only stick it to the banks, but also if you have any brains, it willprovide you with the oportunity of becoming a cash only person, meaning you will only spend what you can afford and will force you to live within your limits, nowadays we are used to over spend just because we have plastic money, I personally think this behavior in part is what has gotten us in the mess we are in today.

4- Depending on each individual situation, this may also be the perfect time for those who purchased a house within the last decade to let it go into foreclosure and purchase another one at a much cheaper price, of course, you must buy first, foreclose later, otherwise you will not be able to get a mortgage.

Finally, do some research.... we are not lending China, the opposite is true, we owe China over $700 Billion, and by 2020 it is forecasted that we will owe them $20 trillion. My advise to everyone ...start learning Chinese. Good Luck to all!!!

Look, this is not rocket science. If you really have an account at Chase providing your account number to them does no harm to you at all.

I suspect that you do not have an account.

Why, therefore should Chase cash a check for someone who is not an account holder? If they did this for anyone, pretty soon they would find every *** who gets a check inhabiting their lobby, smelling up the place for account holders.

Atty. advised to try this 3rd attempt at mod and if not.. he will intervene as Chase bank broke mods twice already.

Also advised to get ALL money out of Chase bank as they will help themselves,

which they did when I overdrew on checking acct. Placed the debt on my credit card.. have cancelled that also.

If this attempt fails, atty. is in wings.

I wish ALL these banks failed...Wells Fargo just as bad.. my kids in foreclosure for no reason.. atty. working on that!!!! Obama, thanks no thanks.

get an attorney.. according to mine..

bank cannot put you in mod. or be in process of mod and still foreclose...

This is called a fraudulent foreclosure.

Bank can be sued.. and than they will

move their butts!

Guess what - I have a lot of equity in my home- Turns out local "buy and sell for profit investors" are Cahoots with Chase, insurance companies and Zoning dept to steal our homes...I recently listed my property with MLS for 174,999.00- but took it off the market when my mom had a stroke in 2008 - As I was just moving back in Moving Boxes everywhere! Zoing head - blocks in my car and prevents me from leaving and demands I show him my house because he had "complaints" (I never got one!) I asked to take the 'complaints' with me and call him when I got back from my appointment. Zoning Head had NOT ONE COMPLAINT - and couldn't even think of one! As I went to my appointment they got a WARRANT for one unit of my duplex and condemned it - of course the condemn was reversed (as each complaint was bogus) - but they still locked my attic upstairs and still won't give me my keys or return my house!

My brother ran off with my inheritance with his new wife of 5 years - and the new trust he made for me - COMERICA BANK - won't give me a dime! I finally had to right the FEDERAL RESERVE to get the trust in MN to pay out anything at all - but bills were paid LATE , and not at all

Including my house payment .Hey, I'm presently injured and have no income and this trust is suppose to pay my bills !

COMERICA BANK won't pay $14,000 to pay on a my house with 79,000 equity invested !

Its a scam - I heard Real Estate companies were taking "bribes" - (not showing houses to interested buys) - then taking $20,000.00 from INVESTMENT brokers - to sell the house to them cheap/ YEAH its happening !

I recently got my taxes back and paid my Chase credit card down from roughly $5800 to $0 in one shot. I couldn't afford to pay it all off before and was absolutely disgusted with paying $200 a month only to have about $50 come off of what I owed - the hidden...

While I agree Chase sucks, the interest you were billed is valid. The amount you owed was collecting interest between the time of your last statement and the time you closed the account.

Your account was still open during that time.

Yes is sucks that the bill came after the account was closed, but they bill the interest monthly... so it makes sense.

Chase Bank Credit Card

Chase Bank in Seattle, Washington - Small account-holders are treated like dirt

Chase has wronged me three times. Their procedures are different than WaMu and there was no notification. First they charged me a $20.00 service fee because my savings and checking balance was under $15,000. No longer do they count the large CD I've had with them for five years toward that balance like WaMu did. No notification on this policy change. Next, a quibble, but the teller refused to order new checks for me - it must be done on-line or by mail. She said "we don't order checks here". I wasted a 40-minute trip to the bank to hear that. Finally, regarding the above-mentioned CD, Chase didn't notify me that it was coming due. Yes, that was partially my fault because I should have been paying closer attention, but they rolled it over to a low-interest CD without (again) notifying me. I realize now that banks urge you to pay your bills on line and with automatic withdrawal because it is just too much of a hassle for the customer to change banks and bill paying procedures. Thank heavens I don't have a Chase credit card.

JP Morgan Chase Bank (aka Chase) are nothing but greedy, unscrupulous bastards. I had two accounts with them and have closed them both to go to a smaller, local home town bank where I walk in and the tellers greet me by name.

Chase only knows how to rip off their customers in fees and use the money for television commercials.

I hope they sink.

Chase Bank in Dallas, Texas - Chase can go to ***!!!

every time i try to use my debit card their is insufficient funds i've had it with their *** cunstomer service and lack of knowledge about their own products and services. no wonder their employees are *** to everyone... they have made it so that every chase customer has to call in and complain about their questionable business practices, so the get pissed off too, i kinda feel bad for them but at the same time how can they work for a company that literally steals peoples money? i know we have to pay bills people but come on... i bet they hate their job as much as we all hate chase. i could not be involved with a company that causes so much animosity with its own clients and i would definatly not associate myself with a company that by U.S. law falls under the category of a criminal. i hope with all my will-power strnghth and legal action that chase will disappear. they already had a near death expericence and if it wasent for the bail-out they would have been but this time it will be permanent...mark my words chase you will be ELIMINATED BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY!!!!!!!!

I agree. The big banks weren't too big to fail, they simply paid off enough politicians and their campaigns to get what they want. It all goes down to the battle of money versus the people.
