Come on - give me a break. My business partner, a Chase account holder, sent a QuickPay payment to me two days ago and it still hasn't posted to my account which is also a Chase business account. QuickPay is ***. If you want a really quickpay scenario, use...

My husband sent me money on chase quick pay its now been almost 2days and they kept the money. We both have chase accounts which I am considering closing.

We have been calling and all we get is the run around and lied to over and over again. My advice is don't use this at all.

You will be robbed of your money.

I'm ready to do my 2010 Taxes when I realize that the amount on my monthly statement dated Dec., 31, 2010 is very different from the amount on the Form 1098 that Chase Bank sent to the IRS by $680 less. I called CHASE and the representative agreed with me but she...

How does one find a lawyer not afraid to go after Chase. Chase ran me around for over 2 years with this loan mod.

I can't tell you how many times I submitted the loan mod paperwork. I finally gave up and found a buyer on my own for a third of what the property was worth before Chase could put me in forclosure for the second time. Why isn't the govt stepping in to help the homeowner? They keep bailing out Fannie and Freddie, but the folks at the bottom are taking the heat.

You can't convince me millions adn millions of Americans are dead beats. I would love to see all of Chase customers that are left refinance with smaller local banks.

Chase really needs to come down a few notches. Anyone know where I can get a lawyer without feathers or sign up to a good class action lawsuit?

I agree with all the comments I read here. Chase is the worst bank ever; they hold your money without any permission.

I've been having a lot of problems with this terrible bank.

PLEASE do yourself a favor: NEVER open an account at Chase. It would save you a lot of headache

Chase Bank in Lima, Lima - Chase charging fees

I originally had my free checking accounts at Washington Mutual. When Chase took them over, I specifically asked the Chase employees whether they were going to start charging me fees on the 3 accounts I have. They all told me no... that they were going to abide by the account conditions set by WAMU. Yesterday I logged in to my accounts and there is a $12 fee for each account. I called them up to complain and of course they did nothing but say they can do that. How is it they can just arbitrarily break their promise, go into my account and steal $12 from each, but if I just decided to go into their vaults and take money...because I felt like it or wanted to raise my income, I would be arrested and thrown in jail. If you have accounts at Chase, you would be well advised to leave them. They are a terrible bank. And yes... I am a pissed off former customer of theirs...

Used WAMU acct as a fun acct. put only $120 in it to get gas in pickup and get hair done.

Found out they were charging me $10 each month. I called as said I had a FREE checking acct. They actually said - oh you still do, but you are getting charged a dual transaction fee. $5 for writing a check on the acct.

and $5 for using your debit. I went into the branch - the so called manager was a WEASEL. Told me I got notified and I did not. I came home, called them and asked to have my acct closed.

They said they would cancel my debit and I would have to come in AGAIN to close the account, in the meantime they charged me another $10. WHAT A RIP OFF TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC DURING THESE TOUGH ECONOMIC TIMES - THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!!!!!!

I just heard the news that Chase Bank is charging $12 fees which before i got an account at chase i asked my provider do you charge fees and he directly said NO Never ! So me trusting hes word got an account with chase and i checked my monthly balance and $12 are missing :sigh. How about da people who are unemployied and are struggling to find a job because of how bad the economy has gotten and how about childrens college savings doesnt this mean any thing they dont have any consideration , considering how Florida is struggling day by day to improve :cry i might just have to switch banks or not have a bank account at all because i will not be working my *** off and stick money in ChaseBank to be making someone $12monthly payments :upset

Nightmare of Nightmares - Chase Bank Blocking Use of Funds!

I've been traveling w/ my wife and baby internationally. Three weeks ago my debit card was lost/stolen. I immediately requested an emergency replacement debit card. Since I was international Chase forced me to provide an address of someone else in the U.S. who then had to rush it to me. My family and the contact waited for a week... no card. I called one week later on Saturday and Chase told me that the representative never entered the order and although I impressed upon the representative that it was an emergency and that my family had no cash and a baby I(rationing milk, diapers). I placed another order. I called back Monday to make sure the order was entered. It was not! Buffoonery. Finally on Thursday the U.S. contact received the card and I received it in the foreign country the following Tuesday. Relief? No, and why? The genius customer service representatives at Chase decided to send me a new card, not a replacement card, so the PIN was changed and sent to the address on file because since I'm traveling internationally of course I will have access to this PIN. Over 5 new debit cards in 10 years I haven't had a to walk into a Chase branch to change my PIN number since the 1990s. So now it's week 3, and I STILL don't have access to cash in my account. I have no idea what we're going to do for cash and at this point I might have to resort to illegal means to survive. Banks are supposed to simply hold your cash, not hold it hostage. This has been a complete nightmare for me, my wife, and son where so much of the world still operates on cash including cabs, buses, food establishments, etc. We've suffered horribly at this point physically (I'm not eating, walking everywhere) and mentally because of Chase's poor customer service. I've spent hours on the phone w/ Chase and although they have offices here they cannot help a retail client of 10+ years. I'm definitely moving from Chase and switching to a true international bank which Chase is not, it's a phony. I plan to sue for emotional stress, psychological trauma, and withholding of customer service to a client in an emergency situation. I would recommend that no one patronage Chase due to its poor retail customer service. Big banks are bad for customer service and Chase is a living example of that. Please don't disregard this story as this can happen to you and your family too especially if you have a passport. Chase is only a U.S. bank.

If you went overseas with only one debit card and no other means to access cash then you probably shouldn't be traveling internationally.

I'm having a similar nightmare with Chase bank. I've set up an account and deposited all of my money.

They naturally deemed it necessary to require a proof of address. I've sent in my proof of address three times now and it has been a month. They still will not reopen my account and I still have no access to my funds. Every time I go into the branch, no one knows what is going on or why this is happening to me.

Each representative has told me to do a different thing and has given me wrong information.

I'm an architecture major and I don't have the time to deal with their incompetence. The only branch within walking distance is closed on Saturday and I have little time in the week for their shenanigans.

Chase Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio - Another pissed Chase consumer!

My husband took a $10 an hour pay cut and while our house is up for sale in this stinking economy we thought we would consider the Home Loan Modification process once again. We did the "see if you qualify" tab to first see if we could move forward and after many, many re-submitting of paper work we got a call 2 weeks ago to re-file several of the documents because our original documents had expired!!! Okay, well since we were informed all of our docs would expire on April 7th I called yesterday and today to find out what the *** was going on. Since no one returned my call I waited to talk to someone today and they sent me to the denial department where I was then informed that we do not qualify because our home is considered affordable because it is less than or equal to the 31% required for this program. What the *** does that mean and why did it take them this long to figure this out and give us the false hope of thinking there was relief in sight? I told them they can have the *** house...at least we have been trying to work with them in this messed up economy and make our payments but have been forced into an uncompromising position. I don't understand and as soon as I can get rid of anything CHASE related I'm doing it and will never be a consumer of them again. This has been the biggest crock of you know what I have ever dealt with!

Chase Bank in Portland, Oregon - Received a letter from Chase that they wanted to lower mortgage interest rate

Received letter from Chase that they wanted to lower mortgage interest rates to 4.87 with no cost, no tax returns or papers would be need from us, for their good customers. After six months and so much run around and continues request for additional documents, they come back that they cannot give us the rate they had quoted and it would cost us approx. $4500. in closing cost. The sooner I can close out all my business with them the better. They have lots of bail out money and just want to give us the run around. If you don't have to do business with CHASE BANK the better off you will be.

This sounds very familair. As former happy WAMU customers, we are now with Chase.

They have been after us for over a year to do a harp refi. Made all kinds promises....reneged on every one. Bait and switch on the rate, lost our paperwork. Underwriting came up with all kinds of bizarre requests....finally we said enough.

We are out 395.00 but I think we are better off. Stay away.
