CHASE MODIFICATION DEPT LACK OF INFORMATION/NO RESPONSE/ NO SERVICE

I have been working with Chase Mortgage to get a home modification for over two years now. Recently they denied my application because my home is listed for sale. They called me twice to inquire about the listing and I told them that it was a back-up plan, but that I fully intended to keep the home. No one ever told me that I needed to take the listing down in order for them to proceed, they decided to deny the modification instead. After I contacted HUD they told the HUD representative that they would escalate my issue. I HAVE BEEN CALLING CONSISTENTLY FOR OVER TWO WEEKS AND CANNOT GET A RETURN PHONE CALL. NOT FROM MY CAS: CLAUDETTE ALEXANDER NOT FROM JAMILA TRULEY - MY SUPPOSED CASE MANAGER IN THE EXECUTIVE OFFICES WHOM MY ISSUE WAS ESCALATED TO NOT FROM HER SUPERVISOR WHOM I LEFT A MESSAGE FOR TODAY! I want to start reaching out to all the media outlets that will listen and publish a story and have someone look into Chase's practices. Anyone that wants their story heard can email me ChaseListenUp@***.com THERE IS POWER IN NUMBERS!!!!! Let's show Chase that they are not too big to treat their customers like crap!!!!

Sexual harassment banker access to my accounts

CINDY LY BANKER AT CHASE BANK SHOULD BE FIRED!! PROBLEMS WITH SEXUAL HARASSMENT & the psycopath cindy Ly had access all my personal info - used it harmfully. Chase bank SEATAC WA is horrible!!!!! Manager didn't even care or would listen. Harassing phone calls letters accessed my account. Had to open in separate location. Called headquarters to complain. Chase said they took the complaint very serious because of the situation but unbelievably I think cindy ly still works there. I wonder how many others will be a victim of this. Go to another bank branch people at all cost. Theses guys are rude & something fraudulent may happen with your info as well. Not long after me reporting harassment my identity was stolen. Hmmm wonder how that could of happened!!! I'm quite sure after complaining about harassment issue my info was sold off to a pissed off banker for my reporting her.

I actually know this girl through friend of friend who meet her at la fitness gym on pacific highway. she was out with us laughing & joking about a situation with a customer from chase.

I think she purposely did certain things to certain people.

None of us thought it was very funny & after I googled her & found all kinds of bad reviews.. I would rather not have her in my circle of friends.

Srry for your experience I myself had an issue with this bank but not for sexual harassment. One of my checks I deposited ended up disappearing.

When I went into the branch the manager was extremely rude & not helpful.

I put in a complaint but never saw my check again(soo weird) I think chase headquarters needs to really evaluate what's going on with this bank.

Cancel card due to PUBLIC information used for authentication!

I called about a letter I received my REPLACEMENT card. I did order a card for my wife and when I called to clarify this was her card I was asked a bunch of AUTHENTICATION questions that I didn't know the answer to. I was told they use PUBLIC information! Chase uses public information found on the web to authenticate customers when they call in. I was asked about places I believe my ex-wife lived. This is the PUBLIC information you can find by paying $5. I WAS A CHASE CUSTOMER but I DIDN'T KNOW the answers to all the places they claimed I use to live. Someone PHISHING would be able to answer the authentication questions better than me! Note when I canceled my card my 12000 miles for that month went with it.

Locked me out of my accounts for no reason!!!

HORRENDOUS- I have been banking with this bank for over 5 years now. I have a credit card that has always been paid up.

Last week I went to the bank to open up a savings account thinking that Chase would be a good lender to work with, right? WRONG. The banker was extremely uneducated on the products and services offered with savings accounts. Not only that, but he opened my account and 2 days later I receive letters from the company that I am ineligible to bank with chase.

(Mind you, i have had a credit card with them for over 5 years) To top it off, my account is now locked and customer service says there is nothing they can do for me. I wouldn't recommend this bank to ANYONE!!! I have used Wells Fargo for years and they are much much better.

BE WARE! THE CUSTOMER SERVIS IS AS AWFUL AS THE BANK ITSELF!

Bad ATM at Chase Bank

I stopped to withdraw $100 from a Chase ATM on a Chase checking account, but hit by accident $60 so I canceled the transaction. I then re-swiped my card and asked for $100 and received a receipt that said "Transaction Denied." So, I go round to another ATM at the same drive-in bank and get my $100. When I look at email later I have two charges for $100 approximately a minute apart. When I call, they find the charges then want me to go through the claims department. This is similar to what happened at the same machine months ago except I didn't get a receipt and the bank was open at the time so my initial complaint was handled by a banker who called in. I still had to fill out papers to get my money credited. This is a bad ATM, Chase surely knows it, I've never had this happen at any other ATM in my life, so my question for all is how many people are losing money to Chase because they don't get instant email alerts or check their transactions each month? This is petty fraud by a huge bank. No wonder Chase can't kept track of billions worth of loses from bad trades in London, I wonder if they can do arithmetic let alone know what their machines or employees are up to. Asleep at the wheel seems to be their M.O. or is it by intent?

Charged late fees and interest charges after move.

Was charged A couple of hundred dollars for late fees from a move that caused a bill to be missed and bank bill pay to be missed. I was with Chase for over thirty years with a perfect record of payment. No late payments, all payments in full. Did not matter to Chase. No regard to locality. Canceled card and asked for amount of final payment which was sent. Still got another hundred-dollar interest bill. Do not use this bank. There are many others that will accommodate problems when moving. Customer service reps. and manager were no help. Was told it's too bad. It's no wonder why they are always in financial trouble.

They tried to jack-up my mortgage balance

CHASE had solicited me for a NO COST refinance. I was uncomfortable because everything was rush, rush, rush, but the deal was good so we went thorugh the process: I smelled a rat right off because the "estimate" was greater than my balance. Later, in complete contradiction to my requests and instructions they planned to replenish my escrow by adding it the loan balance, which was NOT owned up to by them ahead of time, but I had smelled something fishy all along, and on the evening the notary came to our house to process the papers the FIRST THING I did was compare the loan amount to the balance on the CHASE website. Yup! They were “doing” me. We did not sign. They offered to “try to make it right” and suggested they’d re-draw the papers, and maybe even lower the rate a tad, and so I agreed to wait. Three weeks later I received in the mail, without announcement, a “Statement of Credit Denial, Termination or Change” which infuriated me. (My Credit # has been over 800 for a long time.) They explained that what happened was the Freddie Mac window had closed, and it would take a couple of months to re-apply. In other words, I could take a walk, thank you! My heavens, what a negative experience.

Close of escrow date not met as promised

We were selling our home in Sedona AZ. The buyer was using a Chase loan to purchase the home. With the contract in front of the loan officer, the buyer (and through his agent) was promised a June 3rd close date. We were purchasing a home in Cave Creek AZ and had arranged for a simultaneous close. We moved out on the 3rd. Two trucks arrived at our "new home" in Cave Creek the morning of the 4th of June. The Realtor for this home said the COE had been delayed, however, seeing our dilemma, let us move our furniture in - but we had to go to a motel. He contacted the sellers, they said we could stay by posting an additional not refundable $5000 in the escrow account and paying $300/day! We had no other choice. Not knowing if the loan would ever be approved, we only opened a few essential boxes and lived in chaos for 18 more days! My wife almost had a nervous breakdown. Chase loan department in Flagstaff AZ said "we have no responsibility for your loses." I am in ill health and do not have the money or the effort to sue but am told, if I did it could take months or even years. So much for customer service from Chase. If you are selling your home and the buyer is getting a Chase loan - put some severe penalties into the contract.

Mortgage payment was $61.00 short and instead of crediting the account they hold my money in a un-applied balance and send me foreclosure letters of 2 months overdue.

I have been a customer of Chase Mortgage loan for over 19 years and recently there was an oversight in which a payment was $61.00 short due to an escrow adjustment. Chase consider this as non-payment and apply late charges accompanied with dunning letters of foreclosure and late payment letters of 2 months overdue. I spoke to a manager with Chase and explain to him the circumstances of how their current statement is misleading because it now shows that I owe 2 just months balance and my previous payment is not reflected as a credit. I found it harsh that chase could not apply my previous payment and carry over the balance of the $61.00 to my next statement.

Aggressive Supervisor

I just received a disturbing call from one of Chase Banks "Supervisors" who was aggressive, called appearing to be out of breath, noise in the background. He was rude, making demeaning remarks, insulting, and non professional... He posed an agreement violations which I did not agree to. He first denied that his records showed one of the Represents who I had just spoke to, then admitted it... My complaint is two fold: 1) Treating a customer rudely, which should not be based on their contractual adherences. 2)That several representatives have given me instructions on how to maintain the account and then he calls with different information. If all employees are looking at the same computer account, why would they not present the same information. I have been mislead on one hand and rudely treated on the other....

Chase Refuses to Loan when they have $1million cash of mine!

We have a 20-year relationship with Chase, several accounts totalling over $1million in cash currently! Which earns no interest! Now when we apply for a mortgage loan, and since we have lived outside the States for 10 years, they tell us they can't get a credit score on us. Now we are a couple with 2 high incomes, we have no debt and two homes, and investment assets as well. We have given Chase all our tax returns, statements of employment, earnings statements, passports, driver's licenses, anything they have asked for. But they are rigidly sticking to looking at us with blinders on, the only factor considered being the U.S. based credit score. Now they say they might be able to get us a loan through a 'manual' process which is going to take 60-90 days, will require a lot more documentation - although they can't tell us what documentation that will be - and the loan officer explicitly says he can't say what the outcome of that arduous process will be. Chase has done nothing but obstruct our efforts to get a loan, offering little advice, support, or help. Nothing but obstruction, as in suspending all of our Chase accounts when we tried to wire the earnest money for the house we are trying to buy. This despite being in constant touch with the loan officer and telling him we were going to do this and that the timing was crucial! One part of the bank does not know what the other parts are doing. they don't communicate or work together to help the consumer. instead it's our problem: 'oh, I don't know anything about that department'. The loan officer is very good at explaining why he doesn't know anything, is powerless to do anything, etc. The loan officer does nothing but spout caveats: no assurance that we will get the loan, no assurance as to the timing, no assurance about anything. However, he was very quick to collect the $470 loan application fee! So there is no point in being loyal to a bank, keeping up a relationship with the expectation that the bank will value you as a customer and try to help you out.

12 yr customer & I get random letter that they are closing account and don't have to tell me why and aren't going to (like a *** 5 yr old)

After 12 freakin years of banking with these *** I get this random letter telling me they can no longer retain my accounts. Upon opening account I guess I signed their "Account Rules" which state they can close an account at any time without advanced notice. I have some money in the accounts nothing a normal civilized rational person at a bank couldn't handle. No bounced checks, no overdrafts, no suspicious multiple cash only deposits in the middle of the night, no wire transfers, no international transfers, no checks in large amounts, no deposits from some random place, no large random deposits, I deposit checks from the same 2 places each month. I write the same checks out each month. I withdraw cash weekly for lunch or whatever. I use my debit as needed if I have no cash. There has been no change in my normal monthly banking activity. Nothing. I call the number in the letter and am told "yes" it is valid and not a joke and decision is "final". I ask that all important question "Why" and I rattle all my "good banking" behaviors and tell her it makes no sense. She says that they don't have to tell me why and they're not going to. I tell her I need to talk to a supervisor and she says the answer will be the same. I try and get something out of her she won't budge. I ask her if she had special training on how to deal with people that call in and are bewildered and confused and pissed at this letter. She said no. I did get out of her that it is the "back office" who makes the decision. So I fire off a thousand questions about who the ***, what the ***, why the ***, and she just says that that's what they call them and no I can't reach them. Finally she just quit answering my questions. They don't have to tell me and they aren't going to tell me.

If they don't want your business, then go elsewhere. Since when do you have a "right" to have a bank account at a certain institution? You must be a democrat in addition to a "victim."

@nikalseyn I am the "victim" of your lame comment. I had the right as soon as they took my money.

I could see if there were suspicious or unusual activity on my accounts but Nooooooooooo, just normal transactions.. If you lived in a house or 27 years, perfect tenant, no bounced checks, no late rent, no complaints, no keeping weird hours or weird friends there, then one day out of the blue get a letter and says "You can't live here anymore. You're outta here by X date. I don't have to tell you why and so I am not going to.

Don't ask questions Don't try and call, nothing."

You wouldn't be like WTF just happened? You wouldn't want to know why? If you say No then you are a liar.

I'm sayin why all the cloak and dagger *** Chase. Man up and tell me wtf you are closing my accounts

Horrible company!!!

Choose a different credit card company!!! I have a capital one credit card and I love it so if you are searching for a credit card you can look there! This company doesn't help at all and customer service is horrible! I got transferred to four different people today, each saying they could help with the issue at the start of the phone call then transferring me to another representative. On top of everything they all have thick accents and they don't understand what you're talking about. You can tell all representatives are located in another country. I will never have a card with this company again!

No help with unauthorized charges

I was charged over $300 for a trial period of a product and was only supposed to pay for shipping. After trying to resolve the issue with the company-was hung up on several times, was not given an authorization number to return the product , they were not able then to find my account or let me speak with a supervisor. All emails were returned saying to call the phone number. When I notified Chase, they sided with the company (that per BBB is no longer in business) stating the charges were correct. They are not correct and Chase refuses to remove the charges! Pissed off , used to be loyal Chase customer, but will be selecting another financial institution!

NSF Fees Charged Before Credit Applied

Twice this month I have returned items, and the stores have credited my account/card. They then charged my card for the correct items. Chase has been in trouble for this before... they don't put the credit through until after the new purchase. They let items from the same day charge to the account so that they can charge you NSF fees. I am so fed up with this. Off to Facebook, OCC, Better Business Bureau... By the way Mr. Adrian Charles of Chase Internet Customer Service... you need more training. It's like when someone says something to another someone, and then they say "but"... it cancels out everything the person said before it. With Chase apparently it's "We value you as a customer."
