Chase bank is terrible. we have been fighting with them for 4 years after getting a loan modification.

(that took over a year) and they did not put funds into our tax and ins account. then they have sent us monthly notices saying we are behind in a payment.

which is not true, never been late and have copies of all cashed by Chase but they keep adding up bogus late fees. if we ever get this straightened out I want to move our mortgage to another company.

Chase Bank in San Diego, California - Don't take a Chase check !

Received a 10k Chase Bank check from a local business. Went to Chase Bank to cash the check. They verified the funds and accepted photo drivers license and military ID to verify identity. The check was good and Chase was satisfied with my identity. They would not cash their own check ! Explaination was that I did not have an account with them. Suggestion was to deposit it in my bank account. Why take a check on a bank that won't cash it? Why have a checking account with a bank if the gardener or whoever can't go to Chase and cash your check. Don't bank with Chase.

:( I went with them because they were not chase yet. They were a local bank that went under.

The arrogance of chase has me disgusted too. I am in the process of joining a new local credit union. Do some homework!!

They're safer and simpler and less arrogant!! (sp?) :)

CHASE BANK IS FULL OF IT

THEY CHARGE YOU 34.00 IN NSF FEES.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? AND THEN ANOTHER 15.00 FOR AN "EXTENDED OVERDRAFT FEE" IF YOU ARE IN THE NEGATIVE FOR MORE THAN 5 DAYS! WHERE DO THEY DO THAT AT? I ALSO CHECKED MY BALANCE AT A NON CHASE ATM WHERE THE ATM DOES NOT CHARGE YOU TO DO THAT. I GOT TO WORK TODAY AND WENT ONLINE TO LOOK AT MY ACCOUNT AND CHASE CHARGED ME 2.50 FOR EVERY TIME I CHECKED MY BALANCE AT AN ATM, ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS? THERE WAS OVER 15.00 WORTH OF "BALANCE INQUIRY FEES AT A NON CHASE ATM" WHEN I CALLED FOR A REFUND THEY ONLY CREDITED ME BACK 1.00.. WHAT A JOKE, I'M DONE WITH THEM!

Most banks do charge a NSF fee. Next time don't spend money you don't have.

Also, when you sign up with a bank, try reading their terms & conditions more carefully so you understand what their fees/charges are.

Getting Even with JPMorgan Chase Bank

BEFORE Christmas of 2011, ALL homeowners requested to deposit 1-2 pounds of fish into a "safe deposit box" at a nearby JPMorgan or Chase Bank. The banks close for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Then, the bank closes again for New Years. JPMorgan Chase does not know where the smell is coming from when doors open for business after New Years. It is a FEDERAL OFFENSE for the bank to open any key owned safe deposit box without the consent of its owner. Thus, customers entering the bank will not bank at that location due to the smell. HINT: If you have "alzheimer's disease" or suffer from "dementia" and were a homeowner this is perfect.

How to CLOSE down JPMorgan Chase Bank

To all Home Owners past and present. It is nearing Christmas 2011. Most banks like Chase close for the holidays and then again for New Years. During this time, I am asking all home owners to have an Elderly person open a "safe deposit" box at any of the Chase bank locations. "Accidently" deposit 2lbs. of fish, or aged cheese into the "safe deposit" box. I guarantee by the time doors open after New Years for bank business, that bank will not be able to handle the smell. HINT: safe deposit boxes are FEDERAL, therefore the bank does now know where the smell is coming from, nor which safe deposit box. It is a FEDERAL offense to open any safe deposit box without owners consent.

My wife's BOA card was stolen 2x in the past year by a heroin addict -- my own adult child. Despite new locks on the house and even a new safe, the card was taken without our knowledge.

In total, over $7grand was taken. Bank of America also refused to honor their 0% Liability guarantee.

The solution -- I took them to court. Depending on how much was taken, file a claim in your small claims division against your bank for breach of banking agreement.

Chase Bank in Washington, District Of Columbia - Complete runaround with short pay

chase bank is run by incompetent people from the person that answers the phone all the way up the food chain. their systems are designed to fail. Dealing with them in conducting a short sale can be compared to calling "Peggy" to cash in airline miles. Working a short pay transaction requires hours and hours of prepatation and inputing data into Chase's computer system. Chase consistantly looses the data, deletes the data, and cancels the deal. If you date call them to question any part of the deal, be prepared to be told that "chase doesn't have your authorization on file" even though you may have uploaded this data on seveal occasions. Speaking with a superviser means you get to speak with someone else. Your problem does not get solved, or your questions answered. Typically you will be told that "I'll email someone right away and they will be in contact". Chase is doing a great disservice to its customers, its clients, its staff, and to the entire banking industry. They should quit the banking business and pursue something more suited to their qualifications...raking leaves, sweeping gutters, wathching tv...as a nation, we deserve better treatment than what they are able to offer.

Chase Bank in Houston, Texas - Chase credit cards-worst ***

At one time I had an authorized user to my card and had credit card protection. The user ran up the card to it's max, which I have never done and there was no contact made.I called to have this person removed and was told for over 3 months that the notation had been made. The transactions still took place and I was charged over limit fees.I contacted them again and I was told that I had to close the account which I did, under the new account # the unauthorized user made more purchases which Chase will not reimburse the full amount! This person did not receive the new account info from me,Chase gave it out! They will not adjust my minimum payment even though I've had a loss of income since I set a plan with them.I had another Chase card in which I was the only user and when I called to close the account on a card I had not activated Chase allowed a telemarketing purchase which I had no knowledge of until I called!!So what is the purpose of paying for the protection if there isn't any notification. No wonder everbody is taking them to court, which is what I am looking into. They deserve to go bankrupt, they are ***!!!
